Online influencer “Clavicular,” real name, Braden Eric Peters, faces a lawsuit in Miami-Dade. In fact, he seems a bit extreme because he promotes what is known as “looksmaxxing.” Despite some serious allegations, there doesn’t seem to be a police investigation. Naturally that raises questions among true crime followers about why that hasn’t happened. Read on for more about it.
Civil Case vs Police Report
On Brian Entin Investigates, he and his guest, Ambrosio Rodriguez discussed some of the reasons why no criminal charges were filed. Basically, the complainant in the lawsuit didn’t report it to the police. Rodriguez suggested that she might not want a criminal investigation as it might “slow down” a civil lawsuit.
Additionally, the duo discussed that police departments generally don’t start criminal investigations just because of social media or even civil filings.

True crime followers should also know, that he was arrested on separate charges for allegedly using a firearm involving “an alligator” and for allegedly starting “a fight at a rental.”
The Claims
Aleksandra Mendoza, aslo an influencer, alleged that a sexual assault occurred at a residence in Cape Cod, which falls under Massachusetts jurisdiction. However, she claimed that an incident involving a cosmetic injection took place in Florida.
Rodriguez noted that while the statute of limitations hasn’t passed, the delay in reporting affects the ability to collect physical evidence, such as DNA or medical exams.
Why The Civil Route?
It should be noted that the lawsuit is a civil matter involving financial compensation. Meanwhile, In a criminal case, the prosecution only happens after careful deliberation. So, Rodriguez explained that even if law enforcement reviewed the lawsuit, they would need the victim’s full cooperation.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that one day, Aleksandra Mendoza might lay a criminal complaint against Clavicular.

As a little bit of background, if you don’t know, looksmaxxing by Braden Eric Peters involved things “like ‘facial bonesmashing’ with a hammer, using anabolic steroids, injecting fat-dissolving substances, and taking methamphetamine for weight control.”
That information arrived via CNN. And, it was a fat dissolving procedure that first attracted Mendoza’s attention.
Evidence On Video
Despite the lack of criminal charges, Entin pointed out that much of the behavior mentioned in the lawsuit was live-streamed on “the Kick” platform. The footage reportedly shows Peters injecting fat-dissolvers into Mendoza’s face while she was a minor.
“Having the incident live-streamed…makes a very strong case,” Rodriguez opined during the segment. He suggested that Florida authorities might be more likely to pick up the injection incident because the video provides a permanent record of the event.
Lawyers Deny The Allegations
Peters’ lawyer denied all claims, and says they’re “unproven allegations.” The details in the civil case include counts of “battery, fraud, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.” Well, it’s not like distress is easy to prove. But, as the complainant was underage, that could make a big impact in the hearing.

Here are a few more responses from the discussion:
- What a vile individual. Lock him up and throw away the key…
- Everything I’ve learned about this person has been against my will.
- So sad to see these kids so into themselves so self centered and insecure, just sad…so vain and empty.
- Clavicular is a truly horrible role model for young men and I hope this case can lead to the humbling justice he deserves.
