Alyvia was asked if she received any advice from her TV parents about her new movie, and she said typically they do not give her advice. She explained, “I started working on Y&R when I was three, so I watched all the action onstage and they [Sharon Case and Joshua Morrow] were my role models. They always know all their lines, and are prepared in all other ways, I strive to be that way. I am very lucky they are my parents on the show. “

Soap Opera Digest asked the young actress what she likes best about being an actor. Alyvia replied, “I like pretending to be other people. I mostly try to get roles that are not like me at all. It makes it harder to portray the person, which is a challenge; I like.”
