Is Big Brother 28 Going To Be An All-Stars Cast

Big Brother 28 just got its official Summer 2026 premiere date and the countdown is on for the popular reality TV series to return to CBS.  Sadly the show won’t be back until the second week of July, but cast rumors are already floating in.

Are Big Brother Alums Returning

This week CBS shared an official synopsis and premiere date for the new Big Brother season.

The network confirmed that the show will premiere on Thursday, July this summer.  Big Brother Unlocked will return for a second season and will air the following night on Friday July 10.

It’s way too early for CBS to release the official Season 28 cast list, previous seasons the players aren’t revealed until the week of the premiere.

It’s the way they worded the synopsis that has fans convinced that former houseguests could be returning for an All-Stars season.

Per CBS’ press release, “The season ushers in a landmark summer as Houseguests enter the iconic BIG BROTHER house, with unexpected moments and a season packed with twists and turns.”

Eagle-eyed fans pointed out that previous years’ press releases were worded differently.  In fact, nowhere in the statement does it say anything about “new cast members” or “new houseguests.”  Usually the network puts emphasis on the fact that there are new people joining the reality TV game show.

The season synopsis could have just been written by a different person this year, or it could be a HUGE clue that this summer will be an All-Stars cast.  Which do you think it is?
