Anna Duggar Reportedly Called Josh Duggar’s Crimes “Victimless” In Disturbing Defense

Okay, you may want to hold down everything in your stomach for this one. Anna Duggar, mother to seven, thought it wise to hype convicted sex offender husband Josh Duggar up by calling his crimes “victimless.” I’m sorry, but bro was caught enjoying child porn and was convicted to twelve years because of it. And you don’t know why he’s sentenced to that many years? Seriously, I’m here asking why the years are simply not more.

Anna Duggar Questions Husband Josh Duggar’s Sentencing: “Absolutely Crazy”

Now that Joseph Duggar is prepping to cook in nearly the same oil as his big brother, attention has returned to said big brother. Josh is currently spending his days behind bars, petitioning to have his sentence reduced, and doing all the necessary things to see it through.

Even though he’s been out of the streets for a while, his life has once again become a hot topic of conversation, especially now that PEOPLE are getting their hands on some private messages.

In one of them, Anna questions the reason a federal judge opted ro sentence her dear husband to 151 months in prison for the crime of possessing and receiving child sexual abuse materials. She bitterly branded the sentencing a failure of the justice system.

“I just can’t even wrap my mind around this system of ours,” read the message to Josh obtained by PEOPLE. “[W]hat purpose does it serve to put a citizen away for that long, especially for a crime that was actually victimless?”

Following an investigation by Homeland Security agents, it was uncovered that Josh created a “password-protected partition” on his computer for the purpose of downloading CSAM using the dark web and online file-sharing software.

One of the videos, which was branded “top five worst of the worst” ever by agent Gerald Faulkner, depicted the abuse of an 18-month old toddler.

“I am incensed by the ridiculousness of it ALL,” the message continued, as Anna goes on to call Josh’s sentencing “absolutely crazy.”
