Big Brother 28: Drew Campbell Finally Realizes Dee Valladares Was Plotting Against Him

Drew Campbell evicted Dee Valladares at the Final Four on Thursday’s Big Brother 28, but it took him a while to realize just how badly she’d wanted him out. Read on to find out more.

Live-feed conversations on Sunday produced a pretty amusing postmortem about the whole thing. Drew sat down with Rick Devens on Sunday morning over coffee and launched back into old game scenarios.

He started tossing around hypotheticals about past vetoes and evicted houseguests.

According to Hamsterwatch’s Sept. 27 feed recap, “Drew also said he thinks Angela and Dee were always secretly plotting against Crossovers, and Dee was never excited when he won a comp.”

He isn’t totally wrong about the tension. Still, Campbell seems unaware of how deep it actually went.

Pure Irony

Feed watchers know Dee Valladares wasn’t just mildly annoyed by his competition wins. She was actively plotting against him for a huge chunk of the season.

The Hamsterwatch recap observed, “I think he truly doesn’t know Dee was actively plotting against him for much of the game.”

Drew’s sudden theories give us a nice bit of irony. Dee remains a hot topic after her eviction, with that infamous toilet incident helping send her on her way out of the show.

Viewers Weigh In

When CBS’ Big Brother shared a video on YouTube about Drew using “the Power of Veto on himself, forcing Devens onto the block next to Dee,” fans talked about Drew’s gameplay and Dee’s exit.

One person wrote, “People don’t like the way Drew played, but lowkey it DID get him to the final 3, so I really can’t be hating.”

Another viewer laughed at how many times she escaped the block before her boot, commenting, “After fail attempted, after fail attempted, it felt like eternity for Dee to finally get evicted lmfao.”

A third fan commented on the backstabbing, calling her out with, “The little weasel!!! Dee is so shady.”

“It’s about daaaammmmnnn time lol. How they let either of them make it to this point is beyond ignorant lol,” another critic wrote. “The only way either newbie has a chance of winning is if they sit next to each other, if not Devens wins. I’m just glad it’s not Dee.”

Defending Strategy

Another fan defended the overall strategy from veteran players, writing, “Dee played a good game, especially how she handled the bribe, but glad to see her go over Devens.”

They went on quite a bit about Devens not winning Survivor, while Dee did, saying, “As far as people saying the survivor players shouldn’t be there, why not?”

However, in their opinion, that’s got “nothing to do with BB. There were many chances to vote both of them out before this yet they made it this far. They did a good job.”
