DOOL Spoilers: Should Lucas Go To Jail For Kidnapping Sami, Or Get A Medal?

Days Of Our Lives: Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo)Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) is not a very popular man in and around Salem these days. For a while there it looked like he could be the killer who murdered sweet Abigail Deveraux DiMera (ex Marci Miller).

The evidence pointed to Lucas and many people were more than happy to indict him in the court of public opinion, such as Abigail’s widow Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). But that is now behind him and he has been cleared of involvement in the gruesome killing. But his reputation still hasn’t been polished up, and many are treating him like a pariah. Why is this and does he deserve such treatment? Let’s dig deeper and explore Lucas’ predicament and what should or could be done about it.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Lucas Horton Is A Pariah

Lucas may not have murdered Abigail, but he did kidnap Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Does he deserve jail time for this misguided action?

The answer to this question depends on whether or not fans think that Lucas did something wrong. Kidnapping is illegal after all. Lucas confessed to committing the crime of kidnapping, should he not be punished for this?

Then again, some would argue that Lucas did commit a crime, he did admit to it, but in the end he should not be punished, he should walk free. What is driving such sentiment?

DOOL Spoilers – Should Lucas Horton Do Time?

Some think that the kidnappee, Sami, has committed just as many low down and dirty crimes and misdemeanors as Lucas! But is that a good reason to let the kidnapper, Lucas, walk free?

Recently Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) confessed to a crime and she is now behind bars. She murdered someone so the crime is different, but still, crime is crime, right? Under this logic, Lucas should absolutely be locked up.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – What Happens Next In Salem?

Then there is the matter of how Lucas interrupted the relationship between Sami and his rival and her ex, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). If you think about it, Lucas did save her from getting into a lying, cheating relationship with a con artist.

Thus, Lucas helped Sami when she couldn’t help herself. Then again, did Lucas have the right to play judge and jury? It could also be argued that he should not have taken matters into his own hands and resort to dirty tricks to get what he wanted. Now it’s your turn DOOL fans, tell us what fate you think Lucas deserves!
