Find out more about what will go down in Salem during Wednesday’s show below.

Key Takeaways

• Johnny and EJ have a heated confrontation
• The Coriseal scandal threatens to tear father and son apart
• Steve warns Cat about her ISA investigation
• Alex has surprising news for Stephanie
• Joy makes plans with Tate while Gwen reflects on romance

DiMera Face-Off

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, October 28, hint that Johnny and EJ will have a very heated confrontation.

With George O’Halloran (Michael Rose) dead and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) shot and fighting for his life, Johnny will be done with his father’s dangerous antics.

The tainted Coriseal scandal has already cost lives, and more people have died in the aftermath of the cover-up.

Johnny will be outraged, but will EJ back down or fight back with threats?

The entire situation has become a huge mess, and this could be the very thing that tears EJ and Johnny apart for good.

As Xander’s gunshot crisis continues to rock Salem, the DiMera family may face even more fallout.

Cat Greene’s Warning

Speaking of EJ, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will warn Cat.

Steve landed in the hospital after being tasered while he was stalking O’Halloran.

Of course, everyone thinks it’s EJ who did it, but fans aren’t sure that’s the case.

Either way, Steve will caution Cat about her ISA investigation.

EJ is proving to be more and more dangerous as the days go by.

With Steve’s warning and EJ’s bloody mystery featured in the weekly preview, Cat may need to be especially careful about her next move.

Alex Kiriakis’ Shocking News

Across town, Days of Our Lives spoilers for October 28 imply that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will have some surprising news for Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein).

Is this about Joy?

Meanwhile, Joy will make plans with Tate Black (Leo Howard).

Tate is helping Joy with physiotherapy and her recovery, so is this another session?

With that said, she may ask Tate out for a coffee (or something along those lines), as she’s also faking a crush on him to throw Alex off from thinking she wants him.

Joy wants nothing more than to be with the father of her child, but as Stephanie has been suspicious of her, Joy’s trying to deflect.

As Stephanie’s suspicions about Joy continue to grow, Joy’s attempts to distract everyone could create even more complications.

The only complication here is that Tate has a girlfriend, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), but at least they aren’t married, right?

Lastly, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will reflect on her love life.

Gwen’s had some bad luck in Salem with romance, so here’s hoping this turns around for her really soon!

Annemarie’s Take

I can’t blame Johnny for being furious with EJ. The Coriseal scandal has gotten completely out of hand, and now Xander is fighting for his life. EJ has a lot of explaining to do, although I’m not convinced he’s responsible for everything people are blaming him for.

As for Joy, I think Stephanie has every reason to be suspicious. Joy’s little act with Tate isn’t fooling me, and I hope Alex finally figures out what’s going on before she causes even more trouble!
