Duggar Family News: Christmas Canceled At Amy Duggar’s Until Further Notice
A Family Separated
Amy states that “My test results came back positive, my husband is quarantined in our bedroom and his quarantine ends soon. My quarantine started yesterday and I’m in the bedroom upstairs away from everyone! I don’t have fever but the body aches and chills are terrible.” Amy says that her mom and her son Daxton Ryan King are doing good. Amy has been Facetiming with her husband since they are in separate rooms. This is not the Christmas that Amy believed her family would be having but she is adamant that they will be celebrating in January when everyone is well again.
Amy, who owns 3130 clothing is a bit upset that her family celebration has to be postponed, she is very positive about their January celebration. Amy is trying to find the silver lining in this postponement. Amy expressed her thanks to her mom for taking care of her son and wished everyone Merry Christmas.
A Look On The Bright Side
Amy chooses to look at the bright side of things. Nothing is wrapped she says, so this does buy her more time to get items ready for the holiday. Amy plans to use this time to get closer to the Lord and to watch movies and to get some rest. Of course, Amy is far from being the only celebrity to come down with COVID-19 since the Omicron cases are sweeping the country. Hopefully, Amy’s family quarantine won’t be extended by more positive tests in the family.
Other Duggar News
Of course, Amy’s cousin Josh Duggar has recently been convicted of child pornography charges. Amy’s uncle Jim Bob Duggar was running for Senate in Arizona. As of Dec. 24, the New York Times reports a 55 percent increase in cases in the United States in the last 14 days, along with a 10 percent increase in hospitalizations. Amy has been very outspoken about Josh’s legal woes and now that he has been sentenced perhaps things can get back to normal for the family. Amy guest started on both of the Duggars’ series before their cancelation so fans are familiar with her.
We wish Amy and her family all the best and hope that Amy is well soon. Hopefully, no one else in the house will be stricken with the virus and they can get on with their Christmas celebration as soon as possible.
