General Hospital RUMORS: Is Sasha Britt's Daughter - Nina DNA Match A Mistake?General Hospital spoilers tease that there could be more than one solution to the mystery of who Nina Reeves’ (Michelle Stafford) daughter is. Fans are divided as to whether it will be Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) or Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin), who is rumored but not yet confirmed to be leaving the show. But if Sasha’s DNA matches Nina’s, and she’s not her daughter, then whose is she?

General Hospital viewers have noticed the striking resemblance between Kelly Thiebaud who plays Britt Westbourne, and Sofia Mattsson. Kelly Thiebaud recently let the cat out of the bag that she would be returning to the show as Britt Westbourne! Of course, this could be in connection with the storyline that has just started with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) leaving on a mission to capture Britt’s mother Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

However, there is another intriguing possibility as to why Britt is coming back. Neither GH nor Thiebaud have released anything about the timing of Britt’s return or how long it could be. There is a possibility that Sasha may be Britt’s daughter! Britt came to General Hospital in September 2012 as an OB/GYN. In the United States, it takes at least 8 years to earn that degree plus a 4 year residency. Britt had her own practice at GH, so she would have had to have already completed the residency.

That would have made her in her early to mid-thirties in 2012. We’re not sure how old Sasha is, but there’s a little wiggle room age-wise. If Britt is in her late thirties now and Sasha is twenty-ish it’s possible Britt could have had her as a very young teenager and given her up for adoption. That would have made Britt and Nina pregnant at approximately the same time.

Liesl would have had to given baby Sasha to Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) as she had her baby son, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and maybe Madeline didn’t want two more babies in the house and brokered both Britt’s and Nina’s daughters for adoption. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) just picked up the wrong paper trail, or the papers were done with one child instead of two!

The only other possibility that would allow Sasha and Nina’s DNA to match if Britt is not Sasha’s mom, would be that as Sasha insists, she was not adopted and her mother was an as yet unrevealed third Westbourne sister-who may have herself been adopted! Liesl and Madeline may not have known about her.
