Last night, the 43rd annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place and today’s news reveals ‘The Young and the Restless’ won big.
This awards event prefaces the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sunday, May 1, but honors those behind the scenes and camera on your favorite shows.
On Friday April 29, soap stars and your favorite daytime TV stars gathered to honor those making the technical aspects happen.
Soaps dominated a lot of the wins, ‘The Young and the Restless’ enjoying the bulk of the accolades. ‘Y&R’ won nods for Outstanding Hairstyling for a Drama Series, Outstanding Stunt Coordination, Outstanding Makeup for a Drama Series, Outstanding Lighting Direction for a Drama Series, ad Outstanding Art Direction/ Set Decoration/Scene Design.

‘General Hospital’ also took home several accolades including Outstanding Technical Team for A Drama Series, and Outstanding Costume Design for a Drama Series.
Don’t forget about ‘Days of Our Lives’ who won Outstanding Music Direction and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ who won Outstanding Original Song for ‘Lost in Time.’
