This Is Us Season 2 News: NBC Announces Major Schedule Change For Drama

This Is Us fans, we have got some juicy new details about the show, some we believe you will be excited to hear!

NBC’s “This Is Us” will be making a move from its original time slot on Tuesdays to Thursdays at 9pm. The writers revealed that they went back and forth in making this decision, but they do believe the show will do well on its new day.

Thursdays are very competitive when it comes to the shows we all love, so the writers believe this will help the show excel, as if it needed any help.

NBC also made an announcement about its plans to air The Big Three (This Is Us) after Super Bowl 52, which will be held on February 4, 2018.

The decision to put the show that we all love so much right after the highest-rated game of the year is brilliant. It was an immediate breakout hit for the network and capped it’s first season with series highs, drawing 12.8 million total viewers.

It has been said that “This Is Us” could get a Christmas special produced as well this year. So the show is really kicking it up a notch. We all have great things to look forward to when it comes to the best emotional family drama on television. It seems like September can not get here fast enough. Are you fans ready for the Season 2 premiere? You better have those tissues handy, because with this show they are a must.

Sterling K. Brown, who portrays the part of Randall Pearson, recently let the cat out of the bag and teased the full story behind Jack Pearson’s (Milo Ventimiglia) death is coming soon and we will definitely get some answers in Season 2. This is music to the fans ears, there are so many that have been dying to know and even coming up with their own theories.

Filming for “This Is Us” Season 2 will start in July and the show returns to NBC on Thursday nights at 9pm EST in September. So make sure to check it out!
