NBC’s “This Is Us” will be making a move from its original time slot on Tuesdays to Thursdays at 9pm. The writers revealed that they went back and forth in making this decision, but they do believe the show will do well on its new day.
Thursdays are very competitive when it comes to the shows we all love, so the writers believe this will help the show excel, as if it needed any help.
NBC also made an announcement about its plans to air The Big Three (This Is Us) after Super Bowl 52, which will be held on February 4, 2018.
The decision to put the show that we all love so much right after the highest-rated game of the year is brilliant. It was an immediate breakout hit for the network and capped it’s first season with series highs, drawing 12.8 million total viewers.
It has been said that “This Is Us” could get a Christmas special produced as well this year. So the show is really kicking it up a notch. We all have great things to look forward to when it comes to the best emotional family drama on television. It seems like September can not get here fast enough. Are you fans ready for the Season 2 premiere? You better have those tissues handy, because with this show they are a must.
