The pressure on the British monarchy continues spiraling via the media, and now, it might have reached a boiling point raging around former Prince Andrew. Allegedly the “bad apple” in the basket might soon be tossed to the wolves. Read on to find out more details.

No more Safety Net Behind The Palace Walls

King Charles, the monarch, faces a different sort of world these days, and he and the rest of the royal family increasingly come under pressure to come clean. Actually, can they still all hide behind those palace walls that previously shielded them from an increasingly annoyed public?

Not only do calls for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to face the music become louder, but more royal experts remind folks that no one should be above the law.

Calls For A Full Investigation

During a recent episode on TalkTV, former royal press secretary Dicky Arbiter chatted with Mark Dolan. The two men focused on the “fresh headache” facing the King.

Arbiter, well-known in the circles of royal journalism, gave some very candid opinions about the former Duke of York’s current circumstances. From his insider viewpoint, he seemed confident that certain authorities seem to be “dragging their heels” despite the “weight of evidence” against Andrew..

According to Arbiter, Prince Andrew’s protestations of innocence become “less and less credible” since that “ghastly 2019 interview.” With new Epstein documents emerging, the consensus is that the Prince can no longer “continue hiding behind the veil of monarchy.”

Arrogant And Rude

Arbiter, who spent many years in royal circles, seemed less than sweet on Prince Andrew. In fact, he dished a scathing insight into the character of the Queen’s fave. A bit jaded, he certainly didn’t seem at all surprised about the recent allegations against him.

From his own experience, he described the former Duke as “arrogant and bombastic and rude.” Furthermore, he felt that his dishonesty extended to his mom, the late Queen Elizabeth. In fact, he believes that Andrew was “never honest” with his mom, and that he mistakenly believed he was “untouchable.”

The Queen Might Have Been Shocked

If the late Queen were alive today, Arbiter opined, she would be “absolutely horrified.” Actually, he suggested that the never-ending scandal might have ended up as the “final nail in the coffin” regarding her relationship with her son.

Historically, royal family fans always believed that Prince Andrew was seen as the favorite. And in the royal expert’s opinion, he simply got “around her” by being less than truthful.

A Risk To The Institution

The “monarchy is reasonably secure” for now, but Arbiter warned it’s “teetering on the edge of that tightrope.” While King Charles said that the Palace will “cooperate with any police investigation,” Charles is constitutionally restricted from interfering in political or legal business.

As for the reported demands that Andrew testify before the US Congress, Arbiter claimed Sarah Ferguson’s ex isn’t “the most intelligent bunny on the planet.” Additionally, he doesn’t seem “very good at talking on his feet.” As a result, Americans might easily “tear him to shreds,” which is why his lawyer historically “stopped him” from standing up in court.

Viewers React

Judging by the comments, public sentiment definitely leans towards a demand for total transparency. Many people believe that the survival of the Crown depends on how the King handles his brother’s “disrepute.”

One viewer commented, “The monarchy needs to be stripped of the dead wood. Andrew is a liability that the King can no longer afford to protect.”

Here are a few more responses from the discussion:

  • Andrew needs to face the music in America. If he has nothing to hide, why is he still hiding?
  • Dicky Arbiter is spot on. The arrogance is what will eventually bring the whole house down if Charles doesn’t act.
  • It’s time to empty the basket of the bad apples before the whole thing rots.

What are your thoughts on Dicky Arbiter’s insights? Does Andrew need to “step forward and be counted,” or should the Palace remain silent? Let us know in the comments below, and come back here often for all your royal family news and updates.
