Prince Andrew Reportedly Under Scrutiny — U.S. Committee Debates Inviting Him To Testify On Epstein Files

As new evidences continue to show Prince Andrew’s deep friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, it’s been reported that House Oversight Committee is considering the possibility of inviting him over to the US.

If Prince Andrew is summoned, he would be expected to talk about his involvement with the late millionaire financier and convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.

US Committee Wants To Learn More About Prince Andrew’s Associations With Jeffrey Epstein

Prince Andrew and Newsnight are becoming synonymous, especially considering that his interview with the network acted as the straw that broke the camel’s back.

So naturally, when updates on his ties with Jeffrey Epstein surface, Newsnight is usually the first with the crumbs.

Rep. Stephen Lynch, the Democratic ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, was “sure” Prince Andrew could be called to testify before the US Congress.

“We would be extremely interested in hearing from Prince Andrew regarding his involvement in all this, yes,” Lynch said.

He shared that the committee had already spoken with several victims as they built their case, and that Andrew would be key to their investigation moving forward.

“I think for those on our committee, both Democrat and Republican, who have seen the pain and anguish that has been experienced by these women, it will only increase our interest in speaking to everyone who was involved here,” Lynch said.

Let’s remember that Andrew entered the hot soup for the first time after Virginia Giuffre claimed in a 2015 court affidavit that she was trafficked to Andrew by Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein on three different occasions. She named London, New York and on Epstein’s private island, as the locations.

Andrew has since hit out at her claims through various means and tactics, in an attempt to disqualify Giuffre’s claims, including claiming he suffered from a condition that prevented him from excessive sweating.

This is, of course, meant to discredit Giuffre’s account of meeting a sweaty Andrew on the dancefloor.

In 2022, after the judge refused to throw out the case, Andrew privately settled Giuffre for an undisclosed sum, whilst still maintaining his innocence.
