Criminal Minds Actress Issues Public Apology

Paget Brewster had to eat crow this week on “X” (formerly knows as Twitter) after she got called out for bullying a critic.

Late Saturday night, the Criminal Minds actress went on a rant on social media.  Apparently, she received a ton of backlash for her comments and the post was recently deleted and replaced with an apology.

Who Is Emily Prentiss On Criminal Minds

Brewster is well known for playing the part of Emily Prentiss on the CBS TV show and made her debut in Season 2.

Prentiss was “killed off” in season 7, however it was revealed in season 9 that she was still alive and Paget returned to the show.

Aside from her key role on Criminal Minds, Paget Brewster is also a talented and sought after voice actress.

Over the years Paget has done voice work on dozens of TV shows, and had roles on animated series like The Simpsons, Family Guy, BoJack Horseman, and hundreds of episodes of American Dad.

Criminal Mind Actress Accused Of Bullying

It all started with an article on Screenrant about Criminal Minds that rubbed Paget Brewster the wrong way.

Paget called out the author in a post on X and wrote, “Hello critic Shealynn Scott. You’re young. You don’t know that bad pics and bad reviews can lead to 350 people losing their jobs.  Sell vintage. Work at a shelter. Do something better than what you do now. Because right now you suck.”

Brewster’s followers immediately began calling her out for her post.  By morning, the Criminal Minds star had deleted the attacks and issued a public apology after her temper tantrum.

She went back on social media and added, “Hi guys, I was mean to Shealyn Scott last night and I profoundly regret it. Shame on me for insulting a human being for doing their job. I’m very sorry, Shealyn.  And I’m sorry to those who follow me that you saw me behave like that. Turns out, last night, I sucked.”
