Kyle Chrisley Arrest: New Details On Violent Charges

New details have come to light regarding the latest arrest of Kyle Chrisley. Most people who watch reality TV know that he’s the oldest son of Chrisley Knows Best alum Todd Chrisley and his ex-wife, Teresa Terry. Read on for all the new details.

Many New Charges

Chrisley Knows Best is back in the spotlight just months after Donald Trump granted Todd and his wife, Julie, a pardon. The news that arrived this week, is that Kyle was arrested for various charges including domestic violence. Well, in an update on Tuesday, Fox Nashville revealed more about what allegedly happened.

According to the newscaster, “his wife… called deputies on Saturday saying that he was being belligerent and walking down the middle of the road.”

Authorities from the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department reported that “Kyle charged at the deputies and started to throw punches.”

The sheriff’s department also revealed that “three deputies were actually hurt.” As a result, Kyle Chrisley is “facing 10 charges, including domestic assault and fighting first responders.” Later, he was “released on an $80,000 bond.” It’s not clear where that bond money came from.

The Original Report 

The original report revealed that the arrest happened on December 20. At the time, some of the crimes were listed as domestic assault, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Kyle also faces counts of retaliation and assault on first responders.

Sadly, he has a list of run-ins with the law, so it’s not the first time that reality TV fans saw his mugshot in the news. Notably, he does or did have a problem with addiction, and his dad often talked about it on his podcast before he was arrested for tax and fraud-related crimes.

Family Problems

Kyle Chrisley has an uneasy relationship with his family, and his half-sister, Savannah Chrisley, refused to allow him to see his daughter, Chloe, when her parents were imprisoned. If you don’t know, Chloe was adopted by Julie and Todd Chrisley many years ago.

Although he reached out to his dad since his incarceration ended, apparently, Todd wants nothing more to do with his troubled son. He and Julie try to rebuild their life, and it doesn’t help that Kyle isn’t being a good boy.

Additionally, their son Chase ended up arrested for allegedly becoming belligerent in a restaurant. However, in his case, he has stopped drinking and is, apparently, watching his sobriety carefully.

Of course, many detractors scoff at Todd, because he always goes on about living a godly life. However, he’s not only got legal problems with his son, but also is estranged from his other daughter, Lindsie Chrisley.
