Caitlyn Jenner In War Zone Leaves Critics Underwhelmed?

Caitlyn Jenner, once known as the Olympian Bruce Jenner, made America proud, but her current presence in a war zone and any concerns about her safety seem to underwhelm a lot of critics. Read on to find out why.

Where Is Kris Kardashian’s Ex?

The biological father of Kendall and Kylie Jenner is, of course, trans. These days, she is often admired for her stance on promoting gender choices. According to a post on Instagram by TMZ, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is currently in Israel. 

In the caption, the outlet mentioned:

#CaitlynJenner is safe in Tel Aviv after traveling there for a huge Pride parade, according to event organizers in the city … though missiles are still raining down on the city.

If you don’t know, Iran launched retaliatory missile attacks on Israel on Friday. It came after Israel had “targeted Iranian nuclear sites, senior military commanders, and scientists,” per Al Jazeera.

Critics React To The News

Not many people out of the nearly 2K commenters seemed interested. Interestingly, the lack of interest was not solely based on a lack of support for the LGBTQ+ movement. Many other people seemed underwhelmed by the possibility that Caitlyn Jenner might be in any danger at all.

Why is that? Well, the general sentiment seems to be that the unrest in the Middle East might lead to World War 3. If that happens, it doesn’t matter what gender you might be. Most likely, you will die. One person who responded to the news wrote, “World War 3 about to start and yall talking about…Catlyn (sic) Jenner.”

Sarcastically, another reader wrote, “I really needed this info today. I was this close to losing it.”

More sarcasm followed. Here are a few more responses to the news about the celebrity being in a war zone:

Other commenters talked about Gaza and genocide and Syria and the rest of the mess that worries people across the globe during a fragile international situation. It seems that right now, with wars popping up in Europe and the Middle East, plus the China-Taiwan threat, celebs visiting those areas get little sympathy.

Unless famous people are part of the peace-deal process, most people seem unmoved, preferring to hear news that their families have some kind of positive future.
