EastEnders Spoilers: Is Linda Carter Leaving Walford For Good?

EastEnders spoilers, news, and updates tease that Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) made it clear that she doesn’t want to stay in Walford without Mick Carter (Danny Dyer). Does that mean she’s leaving for good, too?

Fans know that Linda recently returned to Walford. However, some scenes suggest that her return is short-lived. Linda has no reason after what happened to Mick. She took some time away after Mick’s tragic exit. However, she was forced to return after learning that Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) reopened the Vic without her consent. Linda forgave Alfie for what he did, but she also shared her plans to leave town for good.

When news broke that Danny Dyer was leaving the soap, fans wondered if Kellie Bright was leaving, too. However, it was confirmed that the actress isn’t going anywhere.

“I’m happy to stay at the moment although I am obviously sad to see Danny go. He wanted to do other things and I support him as a mate, but at the same time, it’s sad for me,” Bright said during a previous interview with Inside Soap.

“Let’s just say Linda doesn’t get over this any time soon. She’s not going to, is she? He is the love of her life,” the actress reiterated.

“I’m only up to February but we’ve just filmed some Valentine’s Day stuff and there’s a little picture of Mick up behind the bar and she wishes him a happy Valentine’s Day and blows him a kiss. He’s still very present for her in that way,” the actress teased.

The actress hinted that she has some idea of what will happen next to her alter ego. However, she can’t tell anyone. She shared that she recently found out about it and that she’s excited for fans to know about it as well, soon.

Meanwhile, EastEnders boss Chris Clenshaw was generous enough to drop some hints about what’s next for Linda. He said that the soap appreciates having Kellie Bright around. He teased that her alter ego won’t get over Mick’s exit quickly, given that she lost him shortly after getting reunited.

He added that the soap has big plans for the character. He added that Bright starts shooting something in January, and these scenes will air in February. It’ll be something new and Linda will be at the center of the new storyline.
