During the show’s January 1 episode, fans saw Lily, Jean (Gillian Wright), and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) pass out due to carbon dioxide poisoning. After being taken to the hospital and undergoing routine scans, it was revealed that Lily was pregnant, which left Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) in shock.
Stacey finds herself in hot water as a social worker scrutinizes her after learning that Lilly, who was still 12 years old, got pregnant. She also learned that there would be a criminal and child protection investigation because of what happened to Lilly at a very young age.
She was asked a lot of questions about their home life and she continued to insist that Lily won’t keep secrets from her. However, Stacey admitted that she doesn’t regularly check Lily’s phone or social media activities.
