Royal News: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Will Remain In UK Amid The Queen’s Death

The passing of Queen Elizabeth II has left the whole world shaken and in pain, for indeed, the loss of the Monarch at age 96 after 70 years of successful reign is not just a hard pill to swallow but it also left a deep hole in the hearts of her citizens and nations afar. The mark she left on this earth, the footprints her Majesty left behind will remain etched in the sands of time, and her great works will keep being a thing of great discussion for generations to come.

Queen Elizabeth II passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Her death left a sore taste in the mouth of the world at large.

Royal News — How Did The World Receive The Queen’s Death?

Prior to the Queen’s death, Buckingham Palace released a statement earlier that fateful day, explaining that the Queen’s doctor has great concern about the Queen’s deteriorating health, “Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision,” later that day, the official tweeter account for the Royal Family released the news of the Queen’s demise.

When the news of the Queen’s demise broke, it didn’t just shake her country, it shook everyone who has in one way or another, benefited from her reign. Everyone touched by Queen Elizabeth’s death paid their respect to her in diverse ways. The Royal Family replaced their website homepage with the Queen’s phone, the queen was sitting on her throne, only this time, in a dark background, they captioned the image, “Queen Elizabeth II. 1926-2022.”

The Instagram profile photo of Prince William and Kate Middleton were replaced with the Royal Coat of Arms made in black and white, while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle wrote on their Archewell website “In loving memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. 1926-2022.”

All in all, so many other celebrities also paid their tribute to the late Monarch, celebrities like the Kardashians, James Corden, Harry Styles, Sir Elton John, etc.

Royal News — Prince Harry And Meghan Markle To Stay In UK

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in Europe with hopes of attending the WellChild Award in London before the news of the Queen’s concerning health condition was brought to them. Due to fond Prince Harry was of his grandmother, he rushed to Balmoral Estate in Scotland where the Queen was, to be by her side. Both Prince Harry and Prince William were with the Queen when she passed away.

Safe to add that it was also during one of their visits to Balmoral in 1997, that Prince William and Prince Harry heard the news of the demise of their mother Princess Diana, it’s as though history is repeating itself. It’s been confirmed that Prince Harry would remain in the UK for a while following the Queen’s demise, it’s not yet certain the reason for his stay back in the UK or if his children will be joining him but he sure will be reunited with his wife there.
