Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Could Be Finally Cut Off From The Monarchy

According to a royal expert, Harry and Meghan are being tested to see if they’ll revert back to their old ways of leaking information to the media. The expert also opined that the rift could be mended if they don’t leak private Jubilee moments, especially with Harry’s memoir being currently in the wind.

Prince Harry And Meghan Reportedly Visited The U.K. To “Mend Fences”

For the first time since they stepped back from public life in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the U.K. with their children to take part in the massive Jubilee celebrations for the Queen. It was also the first time that they officially stepped out with the rest of the Royal Family, although they did not get to sit with senior members of the Royal Family during the Thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s.

Before departing on Sunday prior to the Jubilee Pageant kicking off, the pair only attended one official function and kept mostly out of sight for the most part.

However, during their short time at Frogmore Cottage, the couple enjoyed meetings with the Queen, though reports emerged that the Queen wouldn’t let her picture be taken with baby Lilibet over fears the couple could market it to American Television.

It’s also believed that the Cambridges and Sussexes only saw each other once – for the public service of thanksgiving. During the event, neither party acknowledged each other.

Royal Family Gave The Sussexes A Trial Run By Offering An Olive Branch

Following the Sussexes’ U.K. visit, Royal expert Duncan Larcome said that the Royal Family must be patiently waiting to know whether the pair will use moments from the Jubilee in their Netflix documentary.

“The test really begins now for Harry and Meghan,” Larcombe told Closer. “They have come to the UK and to the Jubilee and really cemented themselves as royals again, which is great for their brand and something that Spotify, Netflix and Penguin will be eating up.”

He further predicted that the Sussex couple’s future with the Royal Family will depend “on their behaviour moving forwards”.

“Clearly an olive branch has been extended by the Royal Family here,” he said. “But Harry and Meghan would ruin that if any private information about this weekend was spoken about to the press or revealed in a book.”
He added: “It’s last-chance saloon for them now. If anything from the weekend leaked, I imagine they will be totally cut off and that’ll be it.”
