Days Of Our Lives Stars Lamon Archey And Sal Stowers Reveal Their Favorite Stories

Days of Our Lives fans were forced to say goodbye to Eli Grant and Lani Price Grant last week after watching their love story evolve over the last five years. Elani became one of the most popular couples on the show, only for actors Lamon Archey and Sal Stowers to decide to leave the soap together. However, they both had their favorite storylines along the way.

Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Lamon Archey Knows Where He Had The Most Fun

Lani and Eli tried to marry once before they actually accomplished the deed. The first time, things went very badly but we didn’t know how badly until after the famous DAYS time hop that skipped most of Salem’s version of 2020. It was that first wedding that will always be memorable for Archey.

“One storyline that I always remember and had such fun doing was Lani and Eli’s first wedding, where everything went to shit,” Archey said in the July 12, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “The buildup to that and seeing it come to an explosion like it did…I liked that story. That was fun.”

DOOL Spoilers – Sal Stowers Has Lots Of Favorite Stories

Sal Stowers joined DAYS in 2015 as the alleged daughter of Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Nobody ever did a DNA test then but maybe they should have as it turned out TR Coates (William Christian) was really her dad — and she then shot and killed him, leading to how she was written off the show. But that was not one of Sal Stowers’ favorite plotlines. Instead, she loved the emotional family stuff.

“It was so special to experience David Abraham,” Stowers told Soap Opera Digest, referring to Lani and Eli’s stillborn baby. “Having Carver and Jules was very special to me. It definitely made me realize my own dreams of becoming a mother. Also, her father-daughter duo. James [Reynolds] is my heart. I love the father-daughter relationship Abe and Lani built over the years.”

It’s been months since Archey and Stowers taped their final scenes at the police station when Lani learns her fate, but thanks to DAYS’ taping schedule, we only saw them air last week.
