General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that before Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) goes on that sightseeing trip around Nixon Falls with Elijah Crowe (Dan White) in an upcoming episode of General Hospital, he’ll be fishing for some details, because he doesn’t trust him!

General Hospital viewers will recall that something just doesn’t smell right about Elijah Crowe to Sonny! He didn’t like that Elijah tried to buy the Tan-O out from under his friends Phyllis and Lenny Caulfield (Joyce Guy, Rif Hutton) when they were having financial problems. Sonny has seen Elijah’s type before – to Sonny, Elijah is like a slick salesman who pretends to help someone with something they need, but then after he’s got what he wants, the customer finds out they’ve been sold a bill of goods! Sonny is taking concern for Nina, and worries that she will be taken for a ride of the wrong nature letting the smarmy Elijah take her around town; she seems a little too trusting.

Sonny feels like he needs to find out what Elijah Crowe’s game is and if necessary, figure out some way he can kind of follow them around on their trip. That might be a little daunting, considering “Smike” doesn’t have a car! It will be even more daunting once he realizes Elijah doesn’t trust him either and has a tail following him and fishing for details on who he really is! It’s an all-around awkward situation for Sonny, since he knows that Lenny and Phyllis would trust this Elijah guy with their life, and they are way too trusting as well! Lenny a little less so than Phyllis, but Sonny definitely has a bad feeling and wants to protect them, too!

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Must Tread Carefully When Trying To Check Out Elijah Crowe

Sonny must tread carefully when trying to check out Elijah Crowe, because he definitely has the advantage over him. Nixon Falls is a small, isolated town and doesn’t even have cell phone service in most places, let alone the Internet. Nina had asked if he’d googled himself, but Nixon Falls is no Port Charles! But Sonny’s instincts are intact if not his memories! Sonny doesn’t know if random people he asks about Elijah are friends of his or enemies, or if they’ll tell him that Sonny’s asking questions. Sonny’s not sure if he can even trust that state trooper that brought him in, Pennsylvania State Trooper Ralph Finchley (Tatum Shank) with asking questions about Elijah Crowe.

For all Sonny knows, Finchley might be on the take – and when the break-in happened at the Tan-O, Sonny himself was Finchley’s first stop! If it hadn’t been for Lenny and Phyllis taking up for him he might have been in jail, and after all, he’s a new guy in town who doesn’t know any more about himself than anyone else does! Sonny muses Finchley was just doing his job, being a cop. Sonny’s not even sure if Nixon Falls has a library where he could research – Sonny’s not the library type, but it’s a start. He’ll ask Phyllis if there’s a library he could go to so he could see if they have any old newspapers or something to look for stories about Elijah but he’ll tell her he got the idea to research himself from Nina.
