‘GH’ Spoilers Tuesday, October 27: Danny’s Explosive Rage, Ava’s Worst Nightmare & Sonny’s Fury

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, October 27 tease Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) makes a request, while Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) resents a decision.

Plus, in Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) hospital room, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) has questions.

Key Takeaways

• Joe Fitzpatrick asks Dante to investigate Ava Jerome
• Portia confronts Drew over a troubling decision
• Gio questions Curtis about Sonny’s alleged involvement
• Sonny confronts Alexis over her silence
• Danny explodes after catching Rocco and Scout together

Joe’s Request

In the Port Charles Police Commissioner’s office, Joe has a request for Acting Police Commissioner Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Joe tells him, “I’d like your authorization to pursue this,” and Dante will say let’s open up the case file, and then asks him what he’s got.

Joe will answer “Ava Jerome” (Maura West), and he’ll tell him about his suspicions.

When Joe asked Ava some questions off the record, she came across as very evasive. He’s asking about the Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) disappearance investigation.

Dante should give him the go-ahead. He’s got some questions as well.

Portia’s Decision

At General Hospital, Portia runs into Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and confronts him: “Now that I know that you’re involved, I’m questioning that decision!”

Drew had gone to see Curtis while Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) was in to see him, and Drew wanted to help.

Perhaps the decision that Portia is regretting is the one that allows Drew on Curtis’ hospital visitation list.

Portia doesn’t trust Drew any further than she could throw him, and she can’t throw him. If she could, she’d throw him off the top floor of the hospital!

With Drew and Ava’s scheme against Sonny threatening to unravel, Portia may have even more reasons to question Drew’s involvement.

Gio’s Questions

Curtis seems to be a popular guy, because now Gio is in to see him.

He stands at the foot of his bed and asks, “Is there any chance you’d consider that my grandfather isn’t behind your assault?”

Gio obviously is having second thoughts when it comes to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) having had Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) beaten in Pentonville Prison.

Curtis was collateral damage. He’d intervened to try and stop the attack.

But Sidwell blamed Sonny, and there were two of Sonny’s associates in the prison that day: Vito Coronado (Jason Paul Field) and Sully Tucci (Sam Duffy), who was one of the attackers.

Curtis heard Sully tell Sidwell that Sonny had something for him, and he believed him!

Of course, Gio has already been caught in the middle of some difficult family drama, and his loyalty to Sonny could create even more tension.

Sonny’s Confrontation

In the meantime, Sonny is in Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) office, and he’s confronting her.

He knows she no doubt has heard about the accusations he’s been facing, and yet she hasn’t reached out.

He tells her he’s sick of waiting for her to come to him!

Even though he’s got Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) representing him now, and he’s left the mob, he and Alexis still have a relationship. They share a daughter, even though she moved out of town.

The two should have a chance to talk and catch up on family and other matters, shouldn’t they?

Danny Rages!

At the Quartermaine stables in Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) stable apartment, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) rages!

He spots Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and his sister Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) in a clinch, and rushes to break it up.

Danny shouts, “Stay the hell away from my sister!” and gives an ultimatum.

What might Scout have to say back to Danny about this?

He’s acting worse than her father, who has threatened to send her to boarding school!

With Rocco and Scout’s secret romance threatening to come out, Danny’s explosive reaction could make their already complicated situation even worse.

Editor’s Take

I’m glad Gio is finally questioning whether Sonny was really behind Curtis’ beating. It’s about time someone started looking beyond the obvious accusations!

And if Joe keeps digging into Ava’s business, she could find herself in some serious trouble.

As for Danny, I understand why he’s protective of Scout, but he’s going about this all wrong.

Rocco and Scout aren’t going to stop seeing each other just because Danny throws a fit. If anything, he’ll probably push them closer together!
