Or at least, they hope it’s behind them. That’s because Lani and Eli will finally get their babies back and both safe and sound. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) hears pounding on the walls of her Chicago townhouse. Ivan (Ivan G’Vera) is forced to admit that he’s holding Lani and Eli captive. That’s when Vivian makes a snap decision on what to do with them.

Speaking to the publication in a new interview, Linda Dano, who plays Vivian on the hit NBC soap, says that’s when her character regresses back to the woman she is. She wants to kill them. She believes that they deserve as she wants those babies. Unfortunately though, things don’t end up working her way.

Linda puts it this way, “They get the upper hand and get the gun away from Vivian. They bring Vivian downstairs where Ivan is. They have cuffs on, sitting in chairs, while Lani and Eli reunite with their children.”

DOOL Spoilers – Vivian Has A Mental Breakdown

Days of Our Lives spoilers then say that everyone heads back to Salem, where Vivian is immediately hauled to the Salem Police Department. Both Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) arrive in time to find out that Vivian had a mental breakdown. That’s when Kate brings Jake to the room.

Linda further teased, “When Kate foes this whole thing about how they are having an affair and starts rubbing his chest, Vivian goes ballistic and loses control. Even though she tried to play that she’s completely insane, they know it’s an act.”
