Chrisley Knows Best: Grayson Doesn’t Like His Summer Job – ‘It Sucks’

Chrisley Knows BestChrisley Knows Best Grayson Chrisley is working by the pool this summer with girls, water, sun, and fun all around him. Sounds like a veritable blast, doesn’t it? Well, Grayson doesn’t think so.

In the Chrisley Knows Best episode for Wednesday, October 13, we learn about Grason’s new job, and it gives fans a glimpse of what summer jobs look like in the Chrisley family.

Chrisley Knows Best – The Value Of Hard Work

“I love seeing Grason go through the old Chrisley rite of passage, where dad gets you a summer job and teaches you the value of hard work,’ Chase Chrisley quips jokingly, and then Savannah asks, “What did your first job teach you?”

“I think it taught me that never take a job that dad lines up for you because it’s never gonna [sic] be enjoyable.”

We see the youngest of the Chrisley Knows Best siblings walking with a bus tub as he goes up to some friends by the pool who ask him what time he gets off. “I usually get off a five but it’s busy today.”

His friend invites him to come hang out with them, but he tells them “I’d love to hang out with y’all but I got work to do.”

Further on, a dejected Grayson tells brother Chase, “All my friends are here, and I can’t hang out. I gotta [sic] work.”

“Well, Gray it’s a part of bein grown up.”Grayson tells his brother that he thought it was going to be more fun.

Chase then schools his little brother saying that he’s working so he can “stack up money,” to which his annoyed brother answers, “But I’m workin so much I don’t have time to spend the money.”

Trying to share some deep wisdom with his brother, Chase continues, saying, “Well, that’s good! By the end of the summer, you’re gonna[sic] be sittin pretty.”

“That defeats the whole purpose of why I got the job” Grayson blurts out. “It sucks that I’m out here workin and all my friends are in the pool!”

Chase laughs at this, claps his hands together, “Welcome to being an adult! It does not get any better.”
