90 Day Fiancé viewers who watched Angela and Michael through their time on 90 Day Fiancé-Happily Ever After will recall that Angela was ready to drop Michael like a hot potato over the least things, but they finally managed to get married in his home country of Nigeria. Then tragedy struck. Angela’s mother, Glenda Standridge’s health started failing rapidly and Angela had to go back to the United States right after their wedding. Glenda passed away, and then the coronavirus pandemic struck, and Angela could not return to Nigeria, nor was she able to get Michael to the United States even though they were married!

They have never been able to get together in person since that time! Fans have watched Angela lose serious weight, and become literally half the woman she was. But Michael loved her the way she was and disagreed with her even having one weight loss surgery – but he really got upset when she had a breast reduction! As far as Michael was concerned her breasts were one – er, two – of her best features! But as any full figured woman knows, large breasts can be hard on one’s back, shoulders and neck even with the best supportive undergarments! Michael liked his wife very natural, and she’s had so much cosmetic surgery there’s not much natural left. But now she’s trying to get a facelift that will cost $25,000, Michael has had enough!

It’s easy to understand why some fans have thought Angela was verbally abusive to long-suffering Michael. Angela’s obvious issues with jealousy and anger frequently landed on poor Michael. Now she is blaming her failure to quit smoking on him, and the couple has indeed been fighting over that facelift. Reportedly, he’s not answering his phone when she calls him and when he does, she accuses him of lame excuses. She feels he’s not giving her the emotional support she needs. Admittedly, long distance relationships, especially those where the two halves of the couple don’t know if they will ever be together in person again are rough. Many people are not able or willing to keep up the level of commitment to each other in such cases, and it looks like Angela and Michael are one of those couples. Angela reportedly has discussed the whole situation with her daughter Skyla Deem, who doesn’t pull any punches with her.

Skyla always is brutally honest and says what she thinks. Skyla isn’t supporting Michael in any way or giving him any excuses for avoiding her mother, but she certainly can understand why he would! Michael wants a baby, still wants a baby, and is probably still being pressured by his female relatives in Nigeria to have a baby even if it is with another woman! Angela is spending so much money on surgery that could be spent instead on in vitro pregnancy, a surrogate perhaps – although Skyla is still not willing to help in that arena – and Michael is fed up. Angela is accusing him of cheating again, and after an attempt to put a tracker on his phone unsuccessfully, she gives up.

She told the 90 Day Fiancé cameras in a recent episode that she’s giving up on the marriage and is calling Michael to let him know. This got very ugly, with both yelling at each other, her telling him she doesn’t love him anymore and she’s breaking up. She also takes a dig at his masculinity, telling him she should have left after she found out he’d lied about the size of his male organ! Michael expressed concern about her health but she just laughed, and when he asked why she was covering her mouth, she told him it was none of his business! She then told him it’s over and he said he’s not going to beg! They ended it right then and there!
