General Hospital spoilers tease that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will get a surprising update from his daughter Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!
Brook Lynn Quartermaine Gave In And Sold Her ELQ Shares To Linc Brown
General Hospital viewers will recall that Brook Lynn gave in and sold her ELQ shares to her sleazy manager, Linc Brown (Dan Buran) to get him off her back so she could be free to express herself artistically, and also she needed the money after Daddy “closed the bank” and she didn’t work out at ELQ as a secretary either.
So partially for being out of money and partially likely out of anger, she sold her shares. Of course, she has no idea that Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart) who is trying to buy a majority of shares was behind the problems with Linc; he is trying to take over ELQ since he has lost Cassadine Industries when DNA proved he was not Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) bastard son, but rather Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) with an unknown man, although it is probable that his father was also the father of Helena’s daughter Irina Cassadine (Alyshia Ochse). Some fans have speculated that he could have been Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) due to his history of flings and having known the Cassadine family before they ever hit Port Charles!
That, of course, would be the best irony of all to have Valentin buying out what would have been his own inheritance, although it would, of course, have been split with Edward’s other children had it been known. Ned is not likely to be very happy with Brook Lynn for selling her shares, however – she has done it before and Ned had a very difficult time getting them back! But that time she had been blackmailed by Kyle Sloane (Grayson McCouch) although being blackmailed by Linc Brown isn’t a whole lot different!
GH Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine Knows That An Outside Investor Is Trying To Achieve A Corporate Takeover
Ned knows that an outside investor is trying to achieve a corporate takeover by buying out shares of stock, and he also knows it’s not Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) who made his wealth through being a corporate raider. Now there’s a new guy – or gal – in town, and Brook Lynn, with her hasty decision to sell her shares, has played right into his or her hands!

He may begin to wish that he had custody instead of her mother, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) so that he could have raised her as a Quartermaine and she would have had some business acumen forced into her! It is quite obvious that she did not inherit through her genes anything from him except her musical talent, and he hates telling her that she needs to put away her dreams and “get a real job” because Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) told him that too, but now that he’s older, he understands why and he’s glad that she did!
Brook Lynn will not get the response that she expected when she tells him that she solved her Linc Brown problem and how she did it if she even tells her father the truth; there is a chance that she may just make something up, but he will find out anyway because selling her shares to someone can be tracked, it does leave a paper trail or at least a cyber trail in these days of computers and spreadsheets! Sooner or later, Ned will make his daughter pay the piper!
