General Hospital Spoilers: Could Valentin Cassadine Know Who Nina Reeve’s Real Daughter Is?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may soon discover who her real daughter exactly is. By now, most long-time viewers of GH know that Nina had a daughter around twenty-five years ago. It was originally thought that Nina’s pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, but this was false. Instead, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills), Nina’s mother, gave the child up for adoption after Nina slipped into a coma from an overdose of antidepressants.

When Nina woke up many years later, she had no clue her child was alive. However, after marrying Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Nina became ecstatic when he claimed to have found her daughter alive and well. By now, however, GH fans know that Valentin merely hired Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to pretend that she was Nina’s long lost child. This led to severe heartache for Nina when Sasha confirmed that it was a scam during Nina’s second wedding to Valentin.

With all of that drama aside, is it possible that Valentin actually knows who Nina’s real daughter is? Several things show this might indeed be the case. For example, two specific young women have shown up in Nina’s life within the past few years. Each of them is around the same age that Nina’s real daughter actually would be if she did show up.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sasha Gilmore And Valentin Cassadine Have A Connection

The first of these young women is Sasha and Valentin definitely has a connection to her. Although Sasha admits that the evil Cassadine hired her to do a con job on Nina, there were actual DNA tests that confirmed a genetic relationship to Nina. Although those tests were supposedly part of the plot to deceive Nina, is it possible that they were actually real? After all, just because it is true that Valentin hired her, it doesn’t mean that the DNA tests were a lie too.

GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine and Nelle Benson

A second possibility is Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). This would actually be tragic if proven to be true considering how awful Nelle’s character is. Yet, here too, there is a connection to Valentin. Most will remember that Nelle actually worked for Valentin as Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) nanny. Most employers would happily let a nanny go to prison if there was ample evidence the woman was also a violent kidnapper and murderer. However, Valentin has proven himself to be interested in Nelle’s future. Why?

The fact that she was his child’s nanny is a terrible reason. On the other hand, if she was Nina’s daughter not only could Valentin’s protection bring Nina and Valentin closer again, but it also helps him stick it to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

General Hospital Spoilers – Similarities Between Nina Reeves And Nelle Benson

Then there are the many similarities some see between Nina and Nelle’s characters. Both are manipulative, scheming, and at times mentally unhinged. Is this evidence that the two are related? Some like to think so. Regardless, if Valentin is doing what he’s doing because he knows she is Nelle’s daughter, he is in effect killing two birds with one stone on this one.

GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine And Willow Tait

A third possibility could be Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) considering the fact that she also has a history with both Valentin and Nina. Of course, her relationship with Nina hasn’t been a good one. A strained relationship at best is how some might describe it. A great case in point was Nina’s decision to turn Willow’s recent request down. Willow had asked Nina to run a feature in Crimson on how horrible Nelle is. Although afterward, Nina was sympathetic to Willow’s feelings, she still didn’t help her.

Of course, other young women could theoretically be Nina’s daughter and Valentin might know about each of them. It seems clear, however, that those mentioned above are the most likely have a clear connection to both Nina and her conniving ex. More importantly, they are women to whom Valentin has paid much attention!
