General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Belongs With The Prince Of Gloom

The cat is out of the bag when it comes to how many GH fans truly feel about Ava’s relationship with the Prince of Nothing, Nikolas Cassadine. When asked in a recent poll, a great many felt that Ava’s wasting her time hemming and hawing and pretending to hate Nikolas. While it’s true that Ava and Nikolas are fun to watch when they’re verbally sparring, the fact of the matter is that the two shared at least one moment together, which was romantic in nature.

Ava and Nikolas’s shared history in that regard ought to be allowed to bloom if the opinions of GH viewers are to be believed. Ava’s dull, lifeless marriage to Nikolas could suddenly burst into life if she would just be honest with Nikolas about how she truly feels.

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome’s War With Nikolas Cassadine Must End

The truth is, most people in this world would not be able to live in a situation like that of Ava and Nikolas. In fact, GH fans believe that Ava and Nikolas themselves won’t be able to last for the rest of their days in the miserable situation they’ve created for themselves. Sooner or later, either Ava or Nikolas will fall into the arms of someone new, they’ll knock boots … and their marriage will be over.

The question is why should either Ava or Nikolas allow this to happen? If Ava or Nikolas stray from their marriage vows, no one truly wins. Oh, sure if Nikolas strays from the marriage vows, then Ava wins the Cassadine fortune. However, as many GH fans will agree … even Ava knows that money doesn’t really buy happiness or love, and besides … everyone has seen how Ava looks longingly at Nikolas from the corners of her eyes.

It’s been written before, but it’s worth saying again that Ava and Nikolas could be a truly magnificent power couple if they gave one another even the slightest chance. If Nikolas could set aside his grudges and learn to forgive the lives of both these sad GH characters might improve.

Now, in all honesty, it’s not likely that Nikolas can lay aside his anger toward Ava … unless … she was able to come to him humbly and express her true feelings. There have been just a few moments where fans have seen Nikolas behave in an empathetic manner. Those moments may be few and far between with Nikolas but when they happen, they appear to be genuine.

GH fans believe that all it might take is the two in a room together, over a few martinis, where Ava finally lets down her guard and shows Nikolas what’s truly in her heart.
