Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Will And Sonny Renew Their Wedding Vows

Days of Our Lives: Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith)

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will renew their wedding vows with each other in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Will Horton And Sonny Kiriakis Very Nearly Divorced

As Days of Our Lives viewers will recall, Will and Sonny very nearly divorced while Will was in prison, having been framed for the negligent motor vehicle homicide of Sonny’s mother, Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans). Will had asked Sonny for the divorce, knowing that his being responsible for his husband’s death would be something that they could never work through, and he told Sonny to move on! Will’s being incarcerated was in a sense partially his fault, because he made no secret that he blamed himself and took ownership for causing the deadly accident because he was texting his mother, Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney) a Happy Mother’s Day text because he hadn’t gotten around to it earlier in the day.

He didn’t see any other cars besides Adrienne’s, but then it happened so fast. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) had reported seeing a black car coming towards them, and Will’s is gray, but then on a dark night as it was, gray could easily look black.

Sonny, in the meantime, finally gave up hope and signed the divorce papers, although Will had never filed them when Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) told him he was innocent, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) having taken advantage of the situation of Will thinking he was responsible and making it into a frame to protect Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) who later had remembered everything and turned herself in to the police and taken responsibility, having driven drunk and then blacked out that night. Sonny had really laid into her when she confessed and apologized to her, too!

DOOL Spoilers – Sonny Kiriakis Had Moved On But With Exactly The Wrong Person

Sonny had moved on, but only outwardly, with the exact wrong person, Evan Frears (Brock Kelly). He still loved Will in his heart but had been dating Evan recently when Will wouldn’t budge about wanting the divorce. Then Will was released from prison and walked into the Kiriakis mansion, surprising Sonny beyond his wildest dreams, and Sonny already knew he was innocent after his tirade at Maggie when she confessed to him!

However, there were some tense situations ahead that day, with Will and Ciara having realized that Evan was really Christian Maddox, David Ridgeway’s (Kyler and Caleb Ends) birth father, and he had kidnapped David, as Ciara found while at Rafe Hernandez’ (Galen Gering) house earlier, and the real murderer of Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause)! While at Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) execution, Will told Ciara that Evan was at home with Sonny – and the two immediately headed out to the Kiriakis mansion, where Evan had a gun on Sonny! Between Ciara and Will, they got the gun away from Evan, but Will was knocked out in the struggle, and Sonny was very worried about him – Ciara having held Evan at gunpoint and forcing him to drive to the prison where she forced a confession out of him!

Sonny and Will declared their love for one another, and Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower) had both her daddies back. However, she was afraid she might lose Daddy Will again as they played UNO together. Now Sonny and Will want to not only renew their commitment but help Arianna heal from that year or so that Daddy Will was “gone”! A photo still in Soap Opera Digest’s most current edition shows it will be a private “recommitment ceremony” with the two of them renewing their vows and exchanging rings in bed, although there may be a more formal renewal of vows later.
