The pair recently talked to Soap Opera Digest about their new venture as well as the good old Salem days and we have all the details for you here.

Their collaboration was born out of a fun hobby that they engaged in during a recent visit. Both Deidre and Andrea love to watercolor and as they sat at the kitchen table they realized they were on to something that their fans might enjoy.

They have each painted a collection of flag note cards and you can check them out, as well as purchase them here: deidrehall.com/shop. The series is called the Westbrook Collection and one day they may add to the merch with a series of shoe paintings.

According to Deidre, it was when then-head writer Ann Marcus asked her about storyline ideas when she mentioned her twin. The next thing she knew, her sister was flown out to California and as Andrea puts it, “The audience went crazy,” for the plot in which she played Samantha, a Hollywood actress.

Deidre shared that filming was also made easier as, “having a twin meant the production could go on a regular schedule.”
