The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of September 30 indicate that there’ll be surprising contents of Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will question his plan, and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is furious with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) when she learns of his plan.

This week Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will learn about the contents of his grandmother’s will. Devon inherited a bulk of Katherine’s estate, which consisted of $2 billion dollars. Now Devon’s inheritance is at risk thanks to Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll) who says that the original will was doctored.

With the help of lawyer and Hilary look-a-like Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan), Chance is contesting the will. Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is supporting Devon in his fight and has warned Amanda that she’s messing with the wrong woman. This week Amanda reveals the new document which states that $2 billion dollars of Katherine’s estate will go to Cane Ashby (Daniel Goodard), Devon’s former brother-in-law.

The news stuns Devon and he immediately accused Cane of being in on the scam. Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be intrigued by Cane’s newfound wealth and will cozy up to him. Will she try to find answers or is she interested in getting a cut of the money.

Y&R Spoilers – Chelsea Newman Battles Nick Newman

Last week, Chelsea watched as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) said a tearful goodbye to their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Adam decided to leave town because of his guilt over Victor’s death and believed, in the long run, Connor would be better off without him.

Chelsea was left to comfort a heartbroken Connor, but now her focus is going to be on Nick. When Nick tells her that Victor’s alive and that they faked his death to trap Adam, Chelsea is furious.

Nick can try to justify his actions, but Chelsea will refuse to see things his way. The only thing that matters to her is her son’s happiness and Connor is hurting because Nick’s lies cause Connor to lose his father.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – The Newman Family Abort The Plan?

At the beginning of the week, Victor has a confrontation with Adam. Upon discovering his father is alive, Adam goes to the ranch to tell his father that he’s leaving town. Victor tried to convince Adam to stay, but Victor’s pleas go unheard as Adam leaves Genoa City.

The showdown with Adam will give Victor second thoughts. This week Victor reveals a perilous plan, which leads to speculation that he comes clean about the family’s plan.

Add in the fact that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will take over the driver’s seat and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have to deal with the backlash following her father’s return, it looks like the Newmans’s plan has come to an end.
