Young & The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Has A Proposition For Phyllis Summers

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) approaches a wary Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and tells her he has a proposition for her. Phyllis, shocked, asks him “Are you asking me to seduce my ex-husband?” Adam, irritated, tells her he’s asking her to go after what she wants! Then there is a scene of Phyllis and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) laughing and talking at Society. Phyllis flirts with Nick as she tells him she likes to shake things up and Nick tells her she looks like someone who’s shaking things up!

Y & R spoilers tease that he is trying to get Phyllis to get Nick’s attention away from Chelsea Lawson, (Melissa Claire Egan) so Adam can get back with Chelsea! As viewers of The Young and The Restless know, there have been increasing problems between Nick and Chelsea over Chelsea’s having moved in with Adam to support their young son, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) who has been acting out since his grandfather Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) faked his death and his birth father, Adam, moved to Las Vegas shortly thereafter, thinking he would be a bad influence on Connor and that he best forget him. Nick then went to Las Vegas to retrieve Adam after which Chelsea allowed Connor to move in with Adam, then she moved in with Adam later after some more acting out by – or perhaps, acting UP – of Connor!

Y&R Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Propositions Billy Abbott – Or Is It The Other Way Around?

At the dive bar, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) asks Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) if he’s looking to have an affair as they sit at a table together. Billy zooms in on her and asks her if she is trying to sleep with him! Billy has been returning to his old bad habits, including gambling, drinking, being irresponsible, and lying! He has been ignoring messages from his wife, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and making excuses, covering by giving her gifts and paying more attention to the kids, but not making time for her on a regular basis; she had a talk with him that she felt he was avoiding her in a recent Y & R episode, and he placated her with sex, but overall, he seems to be losing interest.

He has found someone who he thinks “understands him” in Amanda, and a place where he can relax and not have to live up to the expectations of others – meaning Victoria and his family members and her family members – and be “himself”, although he admits he doesn’t know who “himself” really is. Billy has never done drugs although he had sold them at one time in his past, but he has plenty of other addictions that he has returned to; will Amanda become an addiction too, and will he add adultery to his list of past bad behaviors he has returned to?
