The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Will Sharon And Rey Find Their Way Back Together?

 

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Viilasuso) may wind up finding their way back together after all on soon on The Young and the Restless!

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Newman & Rey Rosales Broke Up

Y & R viewers will recall that a few weeks ago, Sharon and Rey’s relationship exploded when Rey thought she was spending just a little too much time trying to help her ex, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Plus, Rey had been investigating Adam so things were getting a little too close to conflicts of interest anyway. Rey was concerned Adam had got into Sharon’s head, even though she was trying to help him try to get custody of his own son, Christian Newman (Alex Wilson).

She even went as far as to try to get guardianship of the child, which then she would have allowed Adam to have all the access he wanted to Christian. Rey considered all this involvement with Adam emotional adultery, at the very least, and he figured it would lead to actual physical adultery so he broke up with her and moved out.

Sharon then did wind up sleeping with Adam but realized it was a mistake immediately! Rey doesn’t know for sure that they slept together, but suspected that they did when he unexpectedly found her at Adam’s place when he went to get a statement from him.

Y&R Spoilers – Rey Rosales Still Had Baggage From Mia Rosales

Of course, Rey still had baggage from when his brother Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) stole his wife Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzales) out from under him, a situation in which he had been burned badly, and he had perceived Sharon’s continuing involvement with Adam to be the same kind of situation and didn’t want to be hurt again.

It was easy to subconsciously transfer one situation to another and expect the same outcome; that’s what happens when a person suffers that kind of rejection. For her part, Rey’s rejection of her for trying to help her ex-husband as what she considered as a friend, not a lover, blindsided her and hurt her just as badly. Rey had a lot of other emotional stuff going on too; he had been working as a private investigator for quite some time but wanted to be back as a detective at the Genoa City Police Department.

He probably felt rejected by Police Commissioner Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) when he fired him for messing up the JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) case, but he’d had no choice. But now he is back as a GCPD detective and feeling a little better about himself since being a cop was part of his identity!

Young & The Restless Spoilers –  Rey Rosales And Sharon Newman Kiss

The Young And The Restless Weekly Preview shows Rey and Sharon kissing, and other Y & R spoilers for Fall Previews say the former couple will have a difficult time avoiding one another, which will lead them both to question their feelings for one another. If that kiss in the weekly preview is any indication, they still have deep feelings for each other and that’s a great start to getting back together as a couple!
