Young and the Restless Spoilers: Abby Newman Wants To Make A Name For Herself In The Business World

As many fans know, Abby has been trying to make a name for herself as a businesswoman in Genoa City that needs to be reckoned with. By launching both Society and The Grand Phoenix, she wants to prove to everyone that she’s more than just Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) daughter. Unfortunately, it’s also forced her to make alliances with women that she otherwise wouldn’t have gone into business with. This, of course, includes Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan).

However, The Young and the Restless spoilers now tease that Abby is going to take one step back before she takes two step forwards. Her portrayer, Melissa Ordway, recently told Soaps in Depth in an interview, “Abby didn’t trust Chelsea immediately. She talked to Nick about how Chelsea had betrayed him and left town. But I think she feels that as long as Nick is fine with Chelsea and believes she can be trusted, Abby will give her a chance.”

But here’s the thing: if Chelsea or Phyllis cross a line they shouldn’t cross, there will be hell to pay. After all, her last name is Newman, isn’t it? Melissa added, “Abby is Victor’s daughter so they might want to watch out if they try anything bad with her.”

With that said, we already know that Phyllis Summers is the kind of woman who clearly can’t be trusted. Also, Chelsea might be playing a two-faced game herself. Abby certainly isn’t going to let these women take advantage of her and then get away with it. Things are about to get ugly to say the least!
