Meghan Markle Struggling In The Intensity Of The Spotlight

Meghan MarkleShe might look like she’s always calm, cool and collected but behind the scenes, it’s a whole different story. As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that suggests Meghan Markle is struggling with the intensity of the spotlight as a member of the royal family. For the former Hollywood actress, it’s a whole different level than what she was previously used to. Here’s what you need to know.

According to People Magazine, the Duchess of Sussex is now facing the difficult job of raising her son Archie Harrison in the public eye while also trying to maintain some sort of privacy for her family.

Both Meghan and her husband Prince Harry have made it pretty clear that they want to raise Archie as a private citizen but seeing how they are members of the monarchy, that won’t be totally possible. And for the Duchess, it’s a real struggle.

Meghan Markle Knows How Public And Media Criticism Can Sting

One of the reasons why Meghan wants to keep Archie out of the public eye is because she knows just how much the public and media’s criticism can sting.

While there’s no doubt that both she and Prince Harry can handle it, she doesn’t her son or her future children dealing with the same negative press that they deal with on a daily basis.

One source close to the royal couple told the publication, “Meghan has struggled with the intensity of the spotlight. Although she is a former actress, this is on a different level.”

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Refused To Share Details Of Christening

Just recently Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were criticized for not giving the public access to their son Archie’s christening. What’s more, they also refused to reveal any details about the christening or who Archie’s godparents are. Instead, they just shared two photos on their Instagram page for their fans to see.

This morning, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was christened in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle at an intimate service officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son. They thank you for your kindness in welcoming their first born and celebrating this special moment. Their Royal Highnesses feel fortunate to have enjoyed this day with family and the godparents of Archie. Their son, Archie, was baptised wearing the handmade replica of the royal christening gown which has been worn by royal infants for the last 11 years. The original Royal Christening Robe, made of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, was commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841 and first worn by her eldest daughter. It was subsequently worn for generations of Royal christenings, including The Queen, her children and her grandchildren until 2004, when The Queen commissioned this handmade replica, in order for the fragile historic outfit to be preserved, and for the tradition to continue. Being the 7th in line for the throne does mean that Archie Harrison will have a little more freedom to do what he wants compared to his cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

But for many royal fans, they still want to see him grow up in the spotlight. But Meghan in particular is hesitant about it. So far the Duchess has not made any comments about the report.
