General Hospital Spoilers: Is It Ryan Chamberlain In Canada? How Did He Tie Up Laura and Curtis With One Hand?

General Hospital Spoilers: Is It Ryan Chamberlain In Canada? How Did He Tie Up Laura and Curtis With One Hand?General Hospital spoilers tease that it’s not one hundred percent sure that it really is Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) found in Canada; or should we say, found them?

GH Spoilers: April Tremblay’s Death In Question

Was April Tremblay (uncredited actress) really dead when Curtis found her or did she help Ryan tie Curtis and Laura up? Was April really April, or could she be a relative of Ryan and Kevin who Kevin never knew about? Or did Laura and Curtis find an obsessed Ryan Chamberlain fan who emulates his every murder?

There are many questions with no certain answers for General Hospital fans about Ryan, April, and how Curtis and Laura came to be tied up. One certain fact is that Ryan lost his right hand; forensics, fingerprints, and DNA identified it as having belonged to Ryan Chamberlain.

General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Collins May Be Involved In The Hand Delivery

Laura knows this, although Curtis may not be aware since she saw it when it arrived in a box for Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) at General Hospital and was at Ryan’s “memorial service” where the hand was buried.

The papers on the table that April got for her “guest” obviously were something Ryan would be interested in; and the rigged gas explosion that Laura and Curtis barely escaped from DEFINITELY puts Ryan in mind! By the time they came to, April’s body was missing and the natural assumption is that Ryan finished her off and disposed of the body.

But why dispose of a body in a house that was rigged to explode and burn? That doesn’t make any sense! When Curtis found her, he didn’t check her pulse right away and assumed Ryan had killed her.

GH Spoilers: Laura Collins Finds April Tremblay’s Body

Then Laura came back in and saw April’s body on the floor; while she went back outside to try and get a signal on her cell phone to call the police, Curtis finally bent down to see if April had a pulse and that’s when he was clocked on the head with something, and Laura came back in, saw him unconscious on the floor, then presumably Ryan came at her and the next thing GH viewers saw of them is that they were tied to two chairs put back to back and tied together!

The only thing that makes sense is that “April” and whom we assume to be Ryan are working together! But why would she let herself seemingly be stabbed in the stomach and then play dead? Who could she be to Ryan and is she really “April Tremblay”?

General Hospital Spoilers: Ryan Chamberlain Knows Someone From The DVX

It’s always possible she is or was someone Ryan knew from the DVX who he called for help, but since the DVX was going to dispose of Ryan before they contacted Kevin to see if they wanted him, that doesn’t make a lot of sense either. Laura and Curtis knew that her story didn’t add up, and Curtis proved that it didn’t, and then he got the call.

Not a lot is known about Ryan’s past prior to his introduction about a year before Kevin to the General Hospital landscape before the nineteen-nineties, or very much about his time in between other than he was working for the DVX on “projects”.

GH viewers know that Kevin and Ryan were part of the twin studies and that the two must share some of each other’s memories since Anna Devane and Alex Marick (both played by Finola Hughes) do, and although Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Drew Cain (Billy Miller) don’t share each other’s memories, Jason’s were planted over Drew’s.

GH Spoilers: Kevin and Ryan  Chamberlain’s Memories Shared

But they were the third set and therefore the third try for the twin’s memory transfer experiments and Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) had built upon and improved Dr. Arthur Cabot’s (Time Winters) studies and procedures by then. Ryan and Kevin were in the middle!

While Ryan was never known to have had any children, GH viewers who also watched the spinoff “Port Charles” before the vampire and supernatural arcs started, will recall some of Ryan’s history referred to on that show.

Kevin had a daughter named Livvie Locke (Kelly Monaco), who, if we peel away the vampire stories and other supernatural facades, was basically mentally ill, as Stephen Clay (Michael Easton) was later explained to be when Silas Clay (Michael Easton) came on board General Hospital several years ago. For newer viewers, this was Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) late father and uncle and played by Michael Easton who now plays Dr. Hamilton Finn.

General Hospital Spoilers: The Mystery Around Ryan Chamberlain’s Death Continues To Raise Questions

There was even a storyline where Livvie stole Ryan’s ashes and buried them in the Barrington Estate yard as Kevin’s! Some of the other historical Port Charles storylines speaks of Ryan having stolen Kevin’s first girlfriend and Livvie’s mother, Grace Reese and having an affair with her, so Livvie’s paternity was in question for a while. Kevin didn’t know about her until she was a grown woman.

Sadly, Livvie died and when Port Charles was canceled, Kelly Monaco became Sam McCall on GH. Perhaps GH writers are looking to Port Charles historical storylines and allowing for the possibility of Ryan also had a recently discovered grown daughter who inherited his – shall we say, less favorable traits? It’s not beyond the realm of possibility!

Time will tell, and it doesn’t look like GH will drag the conclusion of the Ryan Chamberlain story out too much longer, but one never knows with GH writers! Perhaps we’ll find April is Ryan’s grown daughter and partner in crime, and maybe GH will credit the actress so we’ll know her real name!
