General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) is someone who just keeps on coming back to Port Charles, no matter how many times other people try to “shoo” her away. As a matter of fact, her portrayer, Jessica Tuck, likens her character to a “cockroach,” for a lack of a better word. Her alter ego returns to the canvas this week.
General Hospital Spoilers – Cassandra Pierce Just Keeps On Coming Back For Better Or For Worse
Speaking to CBS Soaps in Depth in a new interview, “I mean, you can stab her with a hypodermic needle full of opioids and you can’t kill her! She’s like those candles you try to blow out and birthday parties. She just keeps re-lighting.”
Now whether or not that’s a good thing or a bad thing depends on who you talk to. But for Jessica Tuck fans they are delighted to see her in front of the cameras again. After all, she is considered a daytime television legend. She was once best known as her role of Megan on One Life to Live from 1988 to 1992.

Jessica explained, “I have a long history with soaps. It’s where I started. I love the immediacy of it. It’s really fun. I love the people there. And it’s work, which I absolutely never take for granted.”
Now as far as her General Hospital comeback, Jessica says that she’s happy to be working in Port Charles again. She admits that she was surprised to get the call but knowing that if they don’t kill you on screen, there’s always a possibility that your character will return in one form or another.

Speaking about Cassandra, Jessica said that while she might not be a very nice character, she certainly is a fun one to play. Jessica also said that loves the fast-paced life that comes with filming in the daytime television world. She said, “It doesn’t necessarily mean that she is well behaved. You’re in, you are up, you are out of the building. So, I really didn’t see anyone that I’ve worked with before. But it’s definitely nice to be back.”
One thing is for certain, there are some very exciting times coming up at General Hospital, airing weekdays on ABC!
