Emmerdale Star Lucy Pargeter Talks About Removal of Breast Implants

“Emmerdale” star Lucy Pargeter opened up about having her breast implants removed in the latest episode of Channel 4’s “Dispatches” titled “Britain’s Breast Implant Scandal.”

Pargeter, who is known for her portrayal of Chas Dingle on the soap, revealed that she has suffered health problems because of her implants. She had undergone two boob jobs. She got her first implants when she was 21 years old and the second one when she was 32 years old.

Lucy Opens Up ABout Getting Implants Removed

She shared that she has been carrying those “toxic bags” for more than a decade and having them removed definitely made her feel better. “I forgot what it was like to have a full lung of air. It’s amazing. I can breathe. The surgery went absolutely fine. They are out. I’m as flat as a pancake. I look awful but I feel good. When I woke up in recovery, the first thing I did was panic because I could breathe. I could take in a massive breath and I thought they were trying to give me too much oxygen – I panicked.

She eventually got over it and was happy that she decided to get the operation. “I know that everything is going to be much better… Hopefully, my joint problems, my anxiety, the rashes on my chest and the pain I get in my chest and armpits will be gone.”
