A tough mob boss, Sonny yelled at his father Mike when he misplaced a huge amount of cash, but found it later in a cigar box.

Sonny told his wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that Mike had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and he sobbed, as he realized that there was nothing he could do to help his father.

He struggled to remain strong when Mike didn’t recognize him as his son. Sonny then reflected on his life how things could have been, including how his son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), could have become involved in the mob.
