“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, October 11, tease that Kyle (Michael Mealor) will focus on his goal. At the Abbott mansion, Kyle’s set on taking down Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Jack (Peter Bergman) advises against it, but Kyle remains determined to expose what Ash is up to.
At Jabot, Ashley catches Kyle sneaking around her desk. He plays it cool and offers an excuse before he leaves. Kyle meets back up with Jack and insists Type A Consulting is a shell company. Jack wants to deal with this alone, but Kyle ultimately tags along. They confront Ashley about what she’s trying to hide, but she gets defensive over the blackmail accusations.
Ash fibs that she’s been dealing with Billy (Jason Thompson) drama. She assures Jack that she’s got this under control. Afterward, Ashley gets in a vehicle with Andrew (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and mentions that they recorded all their conversations. She’s in charge of how the story’s told. Ashley gives Andrew one more payment and hopes she’s finally rid of him.
In prison, Cane (Daniel Goddard) visits an irritated Lily (Christel Khalil). He’s bummed that she’s not happy to see him, but Lily suggests she doesn’t have to keep up the charade. The twins didn’t come, so there’s no need. Lily contends that this is her life now, so Cane had better get used to it.
Talk turns to another convict that Lily’s fretting about. Cane’s concerned about her being used, so she gets snappy. Since Cane doesn’t want to leave things on a sour note, he tries to make amends. Cane understands that this is taking a toll on Lily, but he’s always going to love her.
Later, Cane gets a pep talk from Esther (Kate Linder). He does his best to stay strong and concentrate on the future. At Crimson Lights, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) jabbers to Sharon (Sharon Case) about Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) great work on the show. She goes on and on, but Sharon knows Tessa’s just trying to distract her from the wedding drama.

Tessa’s grateful for all the chances Sharon’s given her and wants to repay the favor. Sharon points out that Mariah’s happy and that’s enough. However, she would like for Tessa to cover for her. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is on the way, so Sharon fills Tessa in on their meeting. The riled barista insists she can handle Phyllis, but Sharon promises she’s got this.
Once Phyllis enters, she gets some dirty looks. Tessa urges Sharon to call her if she changes her mind and wants some backup. On the patio, Sharon and Phyllis bicker until the other cover-up crew members arrive. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) take seats as Tessa comes in for coffee orders.
After Tessa returns with a couple mugs, she hangs around for a moment. Sharon promises they’re all set, so Tessa finally heads back in the main room. That leaves the girls’ night gang to debate the cryptic notes. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Victor (Eric Braeden) are tossed around as possibilities, but they can’t be sure of anything.
Victoria insists that they have to stop clashing and stick together on this. She’s convinced that something big is brewing. Nikki, Phyllis, Sharon and Victoria all look through the patio door. They gaze at Tessa, so Y&R seems to be implying she’s a suspect.
Is Tessa truly the sender of these letters? It’s an intriguing option, but it’s too early to tell. “The Young and the Restless” may have other suspects in store, so Tessa could easily be a red herring. Regardless, some exciting drama’s in the works. We’ll give you updates as other news and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s next in Genoa City.
