Neighbours Spoilers: Tragedy Brings Jack And Paige Together

Neighbours Spoilers: Tragedy Brings Jack And Paige TogetherJust when you thought that Neighbours’ Jack and Paige were over for good, it seems that viewers will once again be asking, will they, won’t they?

The two Neighbours characters met in April 2016, shortly before Jack (Andrew Morley) threw himself on top of Paige (Olympia Valance) to protect her during the Lassiter’s boiler room explosion.

Paige supported Jack throughout his hospital stay, and provided him which much comfort throughout his resulting battle with amnesia. Just when it looked like the two were about to get together properly, Jack remembered that he was in fact a Catholic vicar who had taken a vow of celibacy, ruining their chances as a couple.

However, when he rescued Paige after the hot air balloon accident in October of the same year, they consummated their on-off relationship in a shack by the crash site. In true soap style Paige fell pregnant, and the two now have a beautiful baby boy name Gabe.

Despite being romantically on and off, both Paige and Jack got into other relationships on Neighbours and were living pretty contently. However, the Christmas finale episode saw Gabe being taken by a mysterious kidnapper. Fans will have to tune in to find out the fate of baby Gabe, but the nightmare is set to reawaken old feelings as Paige and Jack rely on each other for comfort.

Executive producer Jason Herbison told TV Week that “the crisis Gabe goes through brings Paige and Jack back together. It bonds them, which affects their respective relationship. It’s not mutual – it’s more one sided – but the other person is forced to confront what it all means.”

In a recent webisode of Neighbourshood, Andrew Morley can be seen telling Ben Nicholas – who played Stingray Timmins – that he would love for Paige and Jack to get back together, and is even seen filming scenes which show pair getting very close at the Waterhole.

As Olympia Valance is leaving Neighbours in March, we can’t see there being much in the way of romance between Jack and Paige. But whatever happens, it’s set to be an exciting watch!
