Home And Away Spoilers: Tragedy Strikes Summer Bay
Will a desperate Mason Morgan (Orpheus Pledger) lose his will to live after his young girlfriend dies way too soon? He’s already on an emotional roller coaster over his terminally ill girlfriend Beth Ellis (Anneliese Apps) but her death could push him over a dangerous edge.
Earlier this month a devastated Mason lost it when he tried to move Beth up on the heart transplant list, to no avail. The heartbroken young man pretended that he was Beth’s doctor and called the transplant team. Eventually he began screaming at the person on the other end of the line when he didn’t get what he wanted.
Poor Beth, aware of her boyfriend’s fragile state of mind, tried to comfort him but Mason assured her that he will be there for her forever.

Nonetheless Mason can see that Beth is deteriorating right before his eyes, and he’s determined to do whatever he can to hang onto her.
In the coming days Mason will succeed in doing something grand for his tragic girlfriend. He arranges for Beth to be let out of the hospital for just a few hours, hoping that they can have a special time together, just the two of them.
Heartbreaking pictures from the outdoor shoot show Beth looking very ill, but dressed in a bright and flowery sun dress.
Mason has arranged a special beachside lunch and at the shore he gives her something that he hopes will give her faith.

Beth is thrilled to see the promise ring that Mason has for her and the two share a romantic moment as the waves crash all around them.
Until Beth begins to have trouble breathing and starts to have terrifying pains. She simply can’t be away from the hospital any longer, and a panicked Mason cradles his love in his arms, and makes a mad dash for their jeep.
Mason rushes her to the emergency room where she’s seen immediately, but the news isn’t good. Can Mason survive without Beth?
