General Hospital News: Maurice Bernard Gets New JobGeneral Hospital’s (GH) Maurice Bernard has been a busy man outside of the GH studio. You will not believe just what he has been up to! We have the details here!

Maurice Bernard has always been known for being on the wrong side of law when it comes to portraying his part of Sonny Corinthos on General Hospital, but now you will be seeing Maurice like you have never seen him before. Maurice Bernard will be playing the part of a detective for an upcoming thriller on Lifetime called “A Lover Betrayed.” So now he will be walking the straight and narrow and getting down to business!

The film will star AMC’s Jamie Luner. She plays a woman who sees her magical night with a solider turn into a nightmare after he becomes obsessed with her. Maurice reveals that he took the job because he wanted to play the part of a detective and be on the other side of the law for once.

It’s definitely something different for him. Are you GH fans going to be interested to see Maurice playing the part of a detective. We can only assume that things will go bad for this woman and Maurice will take on the case trying to help her escape the crazy obsessed lover. Sounds like a typical lifetime movie to us. The movie will also feature Jason Brooks who used to portray the part of Peter on “Day Of Our lives.” It sounds like something we all can definitely look forward to seeing. It will premiere on Saturday, September 9th at 8pm EST.
