General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, October 29, tease that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) needs Halloween help, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has a breakthrough.
In the meantime, the Quartermaines are rocked, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) prepares for a battle!
Key Takeaways
- Chase warns Willow about the consequences of her lawsuit
- Ric makes a request of Alexis concerning Lulu’s case
- Elizabeth gets Dante’s help with Halloween cupcakes
- Anna has a breakthrough during therapy with Valentin
- Jude’s shocking claim sends Tracy into battle mode

Chase Warns Willow
At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has a warning for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen); he tells her to risk a retraction or lose everything!
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) has already refused to write a retraction of the exposé about Willow, with the intel from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
That’s why Willow is suing her. However, it seems like something Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) said to Chase when he defended his ex-wife must have made sense to him.
As Willow’s lawsuit threatens to expose her own secrets, Chase may finally realize how serious the situation could become.
Willow would be better off canceling the libel suit and just letting the buzz die down.
Otherwise, a lawsuit that is likely to get just as much publicity could make things even worse!

Ric’s Request To Alexis
In the meantime, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is in Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) office, making a request to his ex-wife; his request actually sounds like good advice.
He tells her, “Why don’t you just do yourself a favor and nip this lawsuit in the bud.”
He’s representing Lulu, so it sounds like he’s trying to go over Monet Mitchell’s (Blythe Howard) head since Monet works for Miller and Davis.
Alexis is politely listening, but it’s doubtful that she’ll give in to his request. Besides, Willow deserves legal representation, even if it’s not a crime she’s perpetrated this time, just a laundry list of them in print!

Halloween Help
At Elizabeth’s house in the kitchen, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has arrived, and Elizabeth tells him she’s glad he’s there.
She needs help in the kitchen. With Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) abroad in pastry school, she needs help making Halloween cupcakes.
Dante had mentioned his culinary talent to her previously and offered to help.
So now it’s closer to Halloween, and they get started baking. Perhaps these are goodies for a Halloween party at General Hospital.

Anna’s Breakthrough
In the meantime, Anna is at her therapist’s office in the hospital, with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) by her side.
She’s a little terse as she tells him he is there to help her find the truth!
He is the only person she knows who’s convenient and who’s known her long enough to have been there through her struggles with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
It sounds like there will be some heavy-duty work done in this therapy session because Anna will have a breakthrough.
Valentin knew her in spy school, even before she married Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).

The Quartermaines Are Rocked!
Jude (Wil Traval) has appeared at the Quartermaine mansion looking for baby Phoebe Chase (Lucia and Luna Creighton).
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is shocked, as he said he was there to see his daughter.
Jude keeps talking to Brook Lynn, but for sure, other family members will show up in the foyer.
Jude at least is trying to be kind as he says he can see what a shock this is to her, but says he’s telling the truth!
Of course, this is not going to make any sense to Brook Lynn or any of them, since it was a closed adoption and they were told the father wanted it that way!
As Jude’s shocking demand threatens Brook Lynn and Chase’s adoption of Phoebe, the Quartermaines could be facing a whole new family crisis.

Tracy Prepares For A Battle
It’s obvious by this point that Tracy and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) have stepped into the foyer, at least to the point where they could see and hear what’s going on between Jude and Brook Lynn.
Jason tells Tracy regarding Jude, “He’s going to be a problem,” and Tracy will prepare for a battle!
More information about the mystery man connected to Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) should be coming, including, most likely, that he’s a Jacks.
The show has dropped too many hints for him not to be!
As Jude’s mysterious plans continue to raise questions about his connection to the Quartermaines, Tracy may have a bigger battle ahead than she realizes.
Annemarie’s Take
Well, Jude certainly knows how to make an entrance! I can’t imagine what Brook Lynn must be thinking after hearing this stranger announce that Phoebe is his daughter. I wouldn’t believe a word he says without a DNA test!
And if Jude thinks Tracy is going to stand by and let him threaten her family, he’s got another thing coming. I love seeing Tracy in protective mode, and I hope she makes him prove every single claim!
As for Willow, I think dropping that lawsuit might be the smartest thing she could do right now. The more attention she brings to Lulu’s article, the more questions people are going to ask!
Do you think Jude is really Phoebe’s biological father? Will Tracy find a way to protect her family, and should Willow drop her lawsuit? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
