‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 10: Victor Setups Luca – Dylan Investigates Chloe – Mariah Wrecks Kevin’s Plan

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, August 10, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will move forward with a plan to bring Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) down. At Newman Enterprises, Victor and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) talk to Nick (Joshua Morrow) via video chat. Phyllis gripes about Nick’s recent speech. It gave Luca the idea to propose to Summer (Hunter King).

They all agree that they need proof against Luca. Nick admits he hasn’t found any evidence, but he feels sure that Luca was to blame for the oil crisis. Nick recalls that Luca tried to point the finger at Travis (Michael Roark) and Victor mulls over why. Vic calls Luca and asks him to stop by his office.

Later, Victor urges a minion to track Travis down. He checks the security footage to make sure Luca was eavesdropping. After Luca enters, they discuss the oil spills. Luca says he overheard Victor talking about Travis and suggests that he can help Victor locate him. Victor approves Luca’s search efforts.

Meanwhile, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) tells Mariah (Camryn Grimes) that he has a new strategy to win over Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). He’s determined to show Chloe that things will be different this time around. Mariah calls Kevin an idiot and insists that Chloe isn’t interested. She mentions that Chloe tried to play matchmaker for Kevin and someone else.

Kevin asks who Chloe suggested and Mariah gets fed up. She tells Kevin to love somebody who wants to love him in return. After Mariah leaves in a huff, Kevin makes a call to set up a delivery.

At the penthouse, Dylan (Steve Burton) is surprised to see Chloe. He quickly brings up the mystery woman. Chloe denies any involvement and remains focused on positivity. She lets Dylan meet Bella (Cali May Kinder).

At Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) design studio, Summer gushes about her upcoming wedding. Sharon (Sharon Case) and Chelsea can’t believe Victor is being so nice about Summer’s nuptials. Phyllis shows up and they all enjoy some Champagne.

Chloe and Mariah file in next. Mariah takes a few digs at Luca, but Summer tries to put a stop to it. All of the ladies discuss wedding drama of the past. Summer is excited to find the perfect dress. Mariah eventually wishes Summer happiness in her marriage.

Chloe speaks with Mariah privately and once again says she should be with Kevin. Mariah doesn’t think it’s going to happen. Some flowers are delivered for Chloe, but Mariah fibs that they’re hers. At the police station, Dylan checks out Chloe’s name in the system. Kevin is irked by the news that Dylan is investigating Chloe. He doesn’t think she had anything to do with the setup.

Dylan feels like the timing of Chloe’s arrival is suspicious. Besides, Kevin can’t keep an open mind when it comes to Chloe. He’s too close to the case. Later, Kevin looks at the security footage from the state pen again. Back in Victor’s office, Phyllis arrives for updates on the Luca plot. She’s pleased that Victor is going after someone who deserves it.

Luca meets up with Summer at home and they chat about their wedding attire. After making love, Summer takes a shower and Luca talks to a lackey on the phone. He says the subject was last spotted near Mexico. Luca wants to be notified when he’s found.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Dylan will open up to Sharon about his Chloe hunch. At home, Sharon isn’t sure she understands the connection. They talk about Chloe’s issues and Sharon wonders if Dylan thinks of her as a broken individual. Dylan assures Sharon that he loves her and knows she would never hurt someone intentionally.

Guilty Sharon leaves the room as Chelsea pops in. She wants Dylan to prove that Chloe isn’t Victor’s accomplice. It sounds like Chloe will continue to be under major scrutiny. Y&R rumors hint that Chloe may struggle to conceal her secret. Stick with the CBS soap to see what the future holds.
