GH Spoilers: Ethan’s Paternity Fraud Exposed, Tracy’s Secret Mission to Save Phoebe?

General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that Ethan Lovett (last portrayed by Christian Howard) will find his well-meaning efforts taking an unexpected turn.

In his attempt to shield Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) by masquerading as her biological father, Ethan has inadvertently created a complicated situation.

Key Takeaways

• Ethan’s fake paternity claim could come back to haunt him
• Jude’s arrival threatens Phoebe’s closed adoption
• Ethan could return to explain his deception
• Tracy’s upcoming trip may be connected to Ethan
• A family emergency could lead to a shocking revelation

Ethan Faked His Paternity Of Phoebe, And Ensured A Closed Adoption—He Thought!

His actions, which included faking a paternity test and relinquishing parental rights, led Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to believe they were free from any complications.

Thanks to Ethan’s underhanded tactics, the adoption process was completed without a hitch.

However, since Ethan is not Phoebe’s actual father, his deceit has merely postponed the inevitable, as her alleged biological dad, Jude (Wil Traval), is now poised to claim his daughter.

As Jude’s sudden arrival threatens Brook Lynn and Chase’s adoption, Ethan’s deception could become a serious problem.

As we transition into the next chapter of this storyline, it seems fitting for Ethan to make a return.

It would be intriguing to gain insight into Ethan’s thoughts, particularly as Brook Lynn, Chase, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) grapple with the confusion surrounding Jude’s sudden appearance.

Nathan Dean Had To Leave The Show A Couple Of Episodes Early

Nathan Dean departed from the show due to family matters before he could complete his previous storyline, leading to Christian Howard stepping in as Ethan to wrap up his arc.

There’s a possibility that Howard, or another actor, could reprise the role of Ethan if the situation arises again.

However, it’s important to note that many fans still associate Dean with the character of Ethan, which raises the possibility of his brief return in the future.

In any case, Ethan’s presence could prove beneficial, especially with the upcoming drama surrounding Phoebe’s paternity issues set to unfold on General Hospital.

It’s conceivable that Ethan might reemerge and find himself in a position where he needs to clarify his actions at some point.

With Tracy preparing to battle Jude over Phoebe, Ethan may be the one person who can provide the answers the Quartermaines desperately need.

Tracy Must Leave Port Charles To Help A Relative In Distress

This fall, Tracy is expected to leave Port Charles to seek out and support a relative who is in distress.

Since Tracy was Ethan’s stepmother during her marriage to Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), he remains a part of her family.

What if Tracy intends to extract some information from Ethan regarding this paternity debacle?

She might be eager to uncover more details about Jude and potentially gather some incriminating evidence that could be advantageous in the forthcoming custody battle, believing that Ethan could provide valuable insights.

As Jude’s claim threatens to spark a custody battle, Tracy may be determined to uncover every secret Ethan has been hiding.

Since Ethan is currently on the run due to the complications surrounding Jude, Tracy might also see this as an opportunity to offer him protection.

This scenario could shed light on the reason behind Tracy’s journey and the family emergency she is about to address.

Editor’s Take

I have a feeling Ethan’s little scheme is about to blow up in everyone’s faces! He may have been trying to protect Phoebe, but pretending to be her father and signing away his rights was always going to be risky.

And now Jude has shown up demanding his daughter? I wouldn’t trust that man for a second! I hope Tracy tracks Ethan down and gets some answers before Brook Lynn and Chase lose the little girl they love. Wouldn’t it be something if Tracy’s mysterious trip leads straight to Ethan?
