‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday May 20: Meredith Can’t Resist Victor’s Kisses – Lovesick Billy Kisses Phyllis – Hilary Drives Neil To Drink

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, May 20, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will enjoy another chat with Dr. Meredith Gates (Alicia Coppola). In the prison infirmary, Meredith patches up the wound on Victor’s hand while he talks about Adam (Justin Hartley) wanting him to rot in there. Meredith urges Victor to at least think about forgiveness. It could give him some peace.

Victor and Meredith share a moment as she touches his hand. She backs off and hints that she needs to be professional. However, Meredith assures Victor that he isn’t alone. Victor gently holds Meredith’s face and pulls her close for a kiss. Meredith says they can’t do this and sends Victor out.

Once Meredith is alone, she can’t stop thinking about the kiss. She eventually calls Victor back to the infirmary and indicates that he’s on her mind. Victor suggests that the real prison is not being able to have Meredith. She leans in and kisses Victor passionately.

At the athletic club, Lily (Christel Khalil) rants about Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) manipulative nature. She’s sick of this hold she has on Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Devon (Bryton James). Cane (Daniel Goddard) listens to Lily’s complaints and wonders if she’ll go after Hilary. He states that he’ll stand by Lily if she chooses to take Hilary down.

Hilary speaks with Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Neil calls Hilary over and wonders what she has up her sleeve. He says Phyllis and Jack are his friends. Neil doesn’t want to see them get hurt.

Meanwhile, Phyllis voices her disapproval of Hilary during a conversation with Jack. He goes easy on Hilary. Jack wonders if Hilary’s previous unfaithfulness is clouding Phyllis’ view. Phyllis thinks Jack should be careful. Hilary is bad news and nothing is ever enough for her.

At the lab, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) talks to Billy (Jason Thompson) about his love life. She wonders if there’s a new woman, but Billy dismisses the idea. Ashley doesn’t seem convinced and wonders if someone could make Billy move on from Victoria (Amelia Heinle).

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) will share some warm moments at the park. They’ve lightened the mood a little. Stitch says he won’t push Abby away anymore. Abby thinks Stitch should pay Max (Jared Breeze) a visit and he indicates that he’s grateful for her.

Abby drops by the lab and Ashley says she sorry for doubting her claims about Max. They talk about Abby’s marriage. Ashley feels like Stitch and Abby will make it. At the hospital, Ashley meets up with Stitch and tells him to use Abby as part of his support system. Stitch is hesitant after everything she’s been through, but Ashley thinks it’s important to let Abby in.

Back at the club, Stitch plans a romantic evening for Abby. He wants a fresh start, but Abby points out that they can’t turn back time. Stitch still thinks they can have a new beginning. They start making out. Elsewhere, Neil hints that Hilary is targeting Jack and he doesn’t like it. Hilary smugly suggests that there’s nothing Neil can do about it.

A short time later, Lily approaches Hilary and offers a warning. She insists she can take Hilary down by telling Devon that she’s making a move on Jack. At Hank’s bar, Neil orders a shot. Cane walks in and encourages Neil to find another way to handle his problems. Neil gulps down the shot and Cane takes his keys along with his wallet.

Cane states that Lily is still in Neil’s corner, but cautions that he could blow it. Neil just tells the bartender to give him another shot. Meanwhile, Jack and Ashley discuss Billy. Ash feels like there’s someone special in Billy’s life and she must really mean something to him.

Billy thinks back on times with Phyllis and hits the road on his motorcycle. He ends up stopping in the park to reflect. Phyllis appears and Billy says he can’t seem to get away from her. He keeps trying to forget, but it’s just not possible.

Billy says this is driving him crazy, but Phyllis thinks they can’t tear his family apart. Billy replies that this is real and gives her a steamy kiss. Y&R rumors hint that Phyllis and Billy’s relationship will create more complications down the road. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on what’s in store.
