GH Spoilers: Drew’s Sonny Frame-Up Costs Him Scout – Daughter Learns Dad’s Shocking Truth

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) relentless machinations have cemented his status as Port Charles’s most despised figure on the ABC soap opera.

His daughter Emily “Scout” Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) has stood by him unwavering, yet this loyalty may be tested sooner than anticipated.

Scout Has Been In An Increasingly Challenging Situation For A While

Scout has found herself in an increasingly challenging situation for quite some time now. She clearly understands the prevailing sentiment throughout Port Charles about Drew, yet he remains her father, and her love for him is unwavering.

The teenager has become especially protective of her dad, particularly after the incident in which Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) tried to manipulate him.

Scout even took the initiative to approach Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to inquire whether legal action could be pursued against Charlotte for her actions.

She was deeply disappointed when her grandmother refused to align with her perspective.

Scout Wouldn’t Listen, But Drew Has Been Obsessive

Alexis made an earnest attempt to clarify why so many residents of Port Charles regard Drew as an adversary, but Scout steadfastly refused to listen.

However, Scout may have finally begun to recognize her father’s truly manipulative nature. Drew has demonstrated an almost obsessive determination to bring down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

He and Ava Jerome (Maura West) orchestrated an elaborate scheme to fabricate evidence suggesting that Sonny orchestrated the murder of Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) while imprisoned.

Additionally, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) became an unfortunate casualty in the crossfire when he attempted to protect his fellow inmate.

Sonny Is The Primary Suspect

At present, Sonny remains the primary suspect in the investigation, but Scout has discovered the actual truth.

Following her heated confrontation with Alexis, an emotionally distressed Scout returned home, completely unprepared for what would transpire.

She inadvertently overheard Drew, Ava, and Vito (Sam Duffy) engaged in conversation about their scheme and how they successfully incriminated Sonny.

This revelation may ultimately compel her to comprehend the legitimate reasons behind everyone’s negative perception of her father.

Drew was so consumed with portraying Sonny as a criminal that he failed to consider the consequences if his deception unraveled.

Scout Matters Deeply To Drew

While he may be indifferent to Port Charles’s judgment, Scout matters deeply to him. What’s particularly striking is that Scout became the first person to uncover his secret, and this revelation could fundamentally alter how she perceives him.

Throughout his life, Drew has orchestrated schemes against countless individuals, yet Scout has never directly witnessed the destruction he causes-until this moment.

Will she ultimately reject her father? Consider that she previously distanced herself from her brother Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) when he assaulted Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr)!
