‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Billy Won’t Be Sued By Jill – Accepts Redemptive Opportunity

'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers: Billy Won't Be Sued By Jill – Accepts Redemptive OpportunityJill (Jess Walton) means what she says on ‘The Young and the Restless’. And, at this point in his life, Billy (Jason Thompson) should be glad that this woman is his mother because no other employer would tolerate his behavior. So, it was wise of him to accept Jill’s declarative statement; He’s not leaving Brash and Sassy and that’s that.

The threat to sue Billy for a breach of contract was enough to convince him to remain at the company his mom owns. His quick relent may have revealed that he didn’t expect to be forcibly retained. Considering how brazen he was acting until last week, Billy’s lack of fight also underscores just how deeply the Delia (Sophie Pollono) death anniversary affected him.

Mama Bear’s initial plans were well considered. Jill returned to Genoa City intending to set her cub straight. She reclaimed the Chancellor mansion and rightly yellowed the walls Billy had painted garish blue. While history was being restored for Katherine (Jeanne Cooper’s) and for all longtime viewer’s sake, Jill continued working on Victoria (Amelia Heinle).

Vickie has left, been fired, or was lured away from Newman Enterprises in the past. In this instance, Jill offered her the chance to leave Victor (Eric Braeden) so that she could help revive the glamor company that was once her baby. Vickie knew that Billy was part of the Brash and Sassy equation, but she still agreed to join the leadership team that also included Cane (Daniel Goddard).

‘Villy’ was aware of Jill’s obvious plan for their reunion from the jump. While both parties had moved on to other people, their continued bond has remained unbreakable. Travis’ (Michael Roark) move into Vickie’s home and Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) current exit, while possibly not permanent, from Billy’s life also doesn’t greatly impact the odds that ‘Villy’ could eventually reconcile. When, or how, that happens can’t yet be known.

Billy is being genuine as of mid-October. He realizes that he’s been acting destructively and appears to be worn out from all the drama that’s gone down. So, with a new perspective in place, Billy’s acceptance of Jill’s redemptive opportunity was a good choice for him to make.
